Little Tibet’, ‘the moonland’ or ‘the last Shangri La’ are all names that have been applied to Ladakh. Located on the banks of the Indus river, Leh at a height of 3,500 metres is the capital and main entry point to this region. Inhabited predominantly by followers of the Buddhist faith, the compact town of Leh offers broad appeal to the traveller seeking a unique experience. Enjoy a guided tour of Leh where you’ll discover the mosque, city palace, bazaar and ruins of the fortified old royal residence. Also included is a full day tour to the nearby Buddhist monasteries. Nilgiri hills – 5 day/4 night Trip Price: USD $839 Download go guide: Click here
The Nilgiris or Blue Mountains, often called The Queen of Hills, are a range of mountains and a district in the south Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Situated very near the rugged and magnificent mountains of the Western Chats, they begin from the North East corner of Kerala state, though the main range lies in Tamil Nadu. Amongst a landscape of peaks and precipices, rolling grasslands in the foothills, dense jungles and tea estates, is the hill station of Ooty, reached by the Nilgiri Blue Mountain Railway, a toy train from Mettapalayam. Boasting a town centre called Charing Cross, in the early 19th century the British Raj established Ooty as the summer headquarters of Madras (Chennai). Today, vestiges of the Raj include the awesome Botanical Gardens and numerous Anglo-inspired buildings. With its cool climate and charm, Ooty remains one of India’s best-loved hill stations.

Colonial Shimla - 4 day/3 nights Trip Price: USD $579 Download go guide: Click here
Shimla, the ‘summer capital’ of British India, sprawls along a crescent shaped ridge at an altitude of over 2100m. The famous main street, ‘The Mall’, lined with stately English homes and the fortress-like former Viceregal Lodge, reinforces Shimla’s quintessential English look. It’s worth exploring the narrow streets, which fall steeply away from the ridge and give way to colourful bazaars. Beyond The Ridge, you’ll discover Lakkar Bazaar, the place for souvenir shopping. A short walk to the highest point of The Ridge offers fine views of the town, surrounding valley and snow-capped peaks.
