Today starts off after breakfast for a full days excursion, highlights will be a visit to the Bund The Bund, also called the Zhongshan Road, is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. Onward to see the Jade Buddha Temple, the famous Yu Gardens and a trip to the Bazaar.
You will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight across to Xian. Upon arrival you will start your sightseeing here. The highlights on todays tour include visiting the the city wall where you can ride a bike. Learn how to make dumplings at a Xian resturant. Also visit the Shaanxi History Muesum, then learn about the local handmade pottery at the Chongde Handmand Pottery Factory. Overnight Xian.
After breakfast you will visit the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site where some 7,000 warriors stand in battle ready position and a factory demonstrating how the warriors are crafted. Later today you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Overnight Xian.
This morning fly from Xi’an to Beijing, China's bustling capital city. Take a hutong tour in the Xicheng district, later learn how to make a Chinese paper cut. Finally visit some of the local stores including a visit to the Lizexiang Pearl Store. Overnight Beijing.
Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to Mutianyu, where we can walk a section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences!
