Day 1: Beijing
Huan ying, welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Airport arrival transfer and hotel check in.
Day 2: Beijing
This morning, we tour the centre of Beijing including the massive Tiananmen Square and the sprawling Forbidden City. Boasting some 9999 rooms, the city within a city was once the sole preserve of the Chinese emperors. Afternoon rickshaw ride through the Hutongs to see how the locals live.
Day 3: Beijing
Today enjoy a day hiking at the Great wall in an area known as Jingshinlang which is a more remote area so less geared to tourists which really enhances your experience.
Day 4: Beijing
Morning visit to the Temple of Heaven and a stroll in the surrounding parks where relaxing music is played quote surreal. Later we visit the Emperor's Summer Palace, set on Kunming Lake where you will enjoy a boat ride. After we are off to the airport for your flight to Xian - Arrival meet your local guide for transfer to your hotel.
Day 5: Beijing - Xi'an
Today we tour the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site where some 7,000 warriors stand in battle ready position and a factory demonstrating how the warriors are crafted. We continue with a tour to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and take a bicycle ride along Xi’an 9 mile in length, medieval City Wall this concludes with a walk around the muslim quarter of the city. Evening at your leisure.
Day 6: Xi'an - Huanglong
This morning fly to Huanlong - a region that for centuries has been inhabited by various Tibetan and Qiang people. Tour the Huanglong Monastery - built during the reign of Ming Emperor Hongwu -- Transfer to Songpan.
Day 7: Huanglong - Chengdu
Today is spent exploring the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Reserve with your expert local guide - Evening flight to Chengdu. Arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 8: Chengdu - Emei Shan
Morning visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding a short drive out of town. Afternoon driving to Leshan take in the views from Emei Shan arrive and check into your hotel.
Day 9: Emei Shan
Enjoy a full day with your guide on the mountain and taking in the all the ancient temples and stunning scenery.
Day 10: Emei Shan - Zhangjiajie
Driving back to Chengdu we explore the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Dafo (Great Buddha), which is carved into the red sandstone face of Lingyun Hill. Arrival chengdu airport and you fly onto to Zhangjiajie - Arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 11: Zhangjiajie
Enjoy a full day tour of Tianmenshan Mountain including the famous glass sky wall and more depending on your desire for an intense walk or easy day.
Day 12: Zhangjiajie - Hong Kong
Today we transfer to the airport in time for your flight to Changsha. Upon arrival connect with no assistance from us for you onward flight to Hong Kong.
Days 13-14: Hong Kong
For today and tomorrow enjoy time at leisure to explore Hong Kong on your own.
