Day 1: Shanghai
Welcome to China and the start of your city break! Enjoy an arrival transfer to our hotel.
Day 2: Shanghai
Our sightseeing of Shanghai takes in the awesome Oriental Pearl TV tower, the Jade Buddha Temple, charming Yuyuan Gardens and the Bund and Old City. This evening, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River. Overnight - Shanghai Paradise Hotel
Day 3: Shanghai
Free day to enjoy Shanghai your way. Perhaps head to Nanjing Road, just off the Bund or Huaihai Lu; the main street of the French Concession for amazing shopping, explore the Old City or drop into the historic Peace Hotel for a drink and a spot of jazz. Overnight - Shanghai Paradise Hotel
Day 6: Shanghai - Chongqing

Day 14: Chongqing - Yangtze & Three Gorges
Today you are met by your guide and transferred to the port to begin your extraordinary journey down the Yangtze River. At 6340km in length, the Yangtze is the 3rd longest river in the world, neatly dividing China into north and south and wending its way through eight very different provinces. The Gorges are a breathtaking sight! The first gorge we pass, Qutangxia Gorge is the shortest and narrowest yet the most impressive. Overnight - Own arrangements
Day 15: Yangtze & Three Gorges
Next comes Wuxia Gorge, which straddles Sichuan and Hubei Provinces. Lined by twelve sheer peaks, Wuxia offers an spectacular vista for some 45km. Finally is Xiling Gorge, the longest at 75km and which comprises seven smaller gorges. During our cruise, we’ll also sail through the new ship locks of the impressive Three Gorges Dam construction. Day 16: Yangtze & Three Gorges
Shore excursions to mythical Fengdu - ‘Ghost City’ and Shennong stream, with its unique scenery and four natural gorges. Drift serenely along the stream in open ‘pea pod boats’, looking out upon lush greenery and ancient villages of the Tujia people. Overnight - President 1 Cruise
Day 17: Yangtze & Three Gorges - Wuhan
Today we disembark at Yichang where you will be met my our guide and transferred to Wuhan. Wuhan is an amalgamation on three older cities. The metropolitan area consists of three parts – the ancient Wuchang, and Hanyang, and Hankou, founded in 1861 when it became a treaty port for foreign trade. Linked by bridges including one of the first modern examples in China. Overnight - President 1 Cruise
Day 18: Wuhan - Nanjing
Today we take the train to Nanjing. Upon arrival you will be met my our guide and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a visit to Nanjing Memorial Hall and Fuzi Miao. Overnight - Tianyuan Business Hotel
Day 19: Nanjing - Shanghai
Today we head to Suzhou where we visit the Humble Administrator's Garden and silk factory. Enjoy a boat ride on the Grand Canal before continuing on to Shanghai by train. Overnight - Shuguang International Hotel
Day 20: Shanghai
Today we bid you farewell. We transfer you to the airport for your journey home. Overnight - Shanghai Paradise Hotel
