Welcome to China. Upon arrival at Fuzhou airport, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Today there is a guided visit to The Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, a block of ancient alleyways and lanes paved with slab stones. The buildings reflect the craftmanship of ancient workmen and are a wonderful example of past times. Drum Hill is a huge natural rock formation shaped like a drum resting at the hilltop. It reverberates loudly during rain or high winds hence the name.
After breakfast at the hotel, we board the train to Xiamen. Enjoy a guided tour to Gulangyu Island, reached by steamboat, where we visit the Sunlight Rock, Suzhuang Garden and Haitiantanggou - the biggest building complex on Gulangyu Island. Only electric powered vehicles are permitted, creating a noise and pollution free environment for residents and visitors.
Today we visit the Hakka Round Villages, designed as an all in one fortress and apartment. The Hakka people still live in the houses and you will experience their everyday life, housework, families and pets. The houses are situated in beautiful villages surrounded by river landscapes, trees and blossoms.
This morning we transfer to the airport and fly onto Chengdu where you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Later we visit the Wuhou temple and Jinli Street; enjoy the ancient atmosphere and sample the local delicacies at the tea houses, taprooms and inns.
After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Jiuzhaigou. Today we visit the Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve, a gorgeous valley which has amazingly clear turquoise lakes. The Reserve is also home to protected takins, monkeys and pandas.

Today we return to Chengdu to explore the 1700 year old Huanglong ancient town with its cobbled streets, temples and shops located on the winding alleys. A charming town in the Qing Dynasty style.
After breakfast you will venture to the Panda Centre. Located just 10km away from downtown Chengdu, the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Centre has been created and imitates the pandas' natural habitat in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. Later today we transfer you back to the airport for your flight home.
