Travelling west, we journey to Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. One of China’s most charming cities, it’s fame rests on it’s waterways, and canals that are dotted with traditional bridges, houses and gardens. A cruise on the Grand Canal exposes Suzhou’s beauty. Leaving Suzhou you travel to Hangzhou. Renowned in medieval China as an earthly paradise, Hangzhou became the splendid capital of the flourishing Southern Song Dynasty between 1138 and 1279. Today you will visit West Lake and Hefang Street, a historical cultural street area located at the foot of the scenic Wushan Hill of southern Hangzhou and quite close to the famous West Lake. Enjoy a visit to Leifeng Pagoda. Leifeng Pagoda is a five storey tall tower with eight sides, located on Sunset Hill south of West Lake in Hangzhou. Overnight Hangzhou.
Continuing south you travel for about 2 hours to the sea side port of Ningbo. Enjoy a tour of the port area and of a local car factory. Overnight Ningbo.
Taking to the skies you are transferred from Ningbo to the airport in time for your flight to Shenzhen. Today Shenzhen is one of China's wealthiest and most commercially successful cities. Many of the surrounding hills have been taken over by the expanding population of the city, now experiencing an economic boom. The world’s ninth tallest building is in Shenzhen and the Shun Hing building is the world’s tallest steel building. In the morning, you will be transferred to the pier to catch ferry to Macau. Upon arrival into Macau you will visit the Ruins of St.Paul, Mount Fortress a istorical military centre of the former Portuguese colony. You will also visit Macao Senado square and A-Ma Temple situated on the southwest tip of the Macau Peninsula, is one of the oldest and most famous Taoist temples in Macau. Overnight Macau.
Sadly your time with us has come to an end as you are transferred to the ferry terminal in time for your departure to Hong Kong.
