Day 1: Hong Kong

Early morning arrival at the airport and we take you to the hotel to drop bags. Then straight to Disney Land for the entire day (entrance tickets not included) Return in the evening to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Hong Kong - Shanghai

Morning early breakfast and return to airport for 08.00 flight to Shanghai. On arrival meet your China guide who will be with you for the entire tour. Today our sightseeing of Shanghai takes in the awesome Oriental Pearl TV tower, the charming Yuyuan Gardens. This evening, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River to see the city lights followed by tonight's buffet dinner at a local highly rated restaurant.

Day 3: Shanghai

Today we head out to visit ancient Suzhou. A sort of oriental Venice, ancient Suzhou is interwoven by a series of canals and pretty waterways which feed a series of classical gardens, laid out here since the Song dynasty, a thousand years ago. Suzhou sits very close to the Grand Canal. We enjoy a cruise on the Grand Canal, tour the Humble Administrator’s Garden and visit a silk workshop return to Shanghai for shopping on Nanjing Road. Tonight's buffet dinner at a local highly rated restaurant.

Day 4: Shanghai

Today enjoy a tour of the Jade Buddha Temple, Old City and the Bund area of Shanghai. This is followed by a shopping trip to Nanjing Road. Tonight's buffet dinner at a local highly rated restaurant.

Day 5: Shanghai - Beijing

This morning we are off the to the station to catch the high speed rail link to Beijing. On arrival your guide and transfer will take your to your hotel. Dinner tonight is at a local highly rated restaurant. After hotel check in, you head out with your guide on foot for an interesting walk through busy streets to see the Temple of Heaven and its transcendental gardens. Tonight a banquet dinner with entertainment has been arranged!

Day 6: Beijing

Today, we drive beyond Beijing to Badaling, to walk a section of the famous Great Wall. Built in the Ming Dynasty, a 6m wide pathway makes a formidable defence, following the highest contours of a steep range of hills. Return in the later afternoon time to relax. Tonight's buffet dinner will be in a local highly rated restaurant.

Day 7: Beijing

This morning, we tour the centre of Beijing including the massive Tiananmen Square and the sprawling Forbidden City. Boasting some 9999 rooms, the city within a city was once the sole preserve of the Chinese emperors. Afternoon rickshaw ride through the Hutongs of Beijing and welcome dinner this evening. Tonight's buffet dinner will be in a local highly rated restaurant.

Day 8: Beijing

This morning enjoy an excursion to the Beijing Zoo. Later after lunch we visit the Emperor's Summer Palace, set on Kunming Lake and the gartantuous Silk Alley Markets. Tonight's buffet dinner will be in a local highly rated restaurant.

Day 9: Beijing

Morning we will take you to various markets including Pearl Markets and Wangfujiang Shopping district. Return to your hotel to pack. Bid your new Chinese friends farewell they will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
