Day 1: Beijing

Welcome to Beijing Chinas second largest city. Upon arrival you will be met by our representitives and transfered to your hotel. Overnight in Beijing.

This morning after breakfast, We explore the heart of Beijing including the vast Tiananmen Square where Chairman Mao’s tomb and various monuments to the people are located. Dominating the city’s heart is the Forbidden City, a centre of power for five centuries and seat of the emperors. Entering through the Gate of Heavenly Peace (replete with Chairman Mao’s portrait), we enjoy a guided walk of this old city within a city. Overnight in Beijing.

Day 3: Beijing

This morning after breakfast we drive beyond Beijing to Badaling to walk a section of the famous Great Wall. Built in the Ming Dynasty, a 6m wide pathway makes a formidable defense, following the highest contours of a steep range of hills. After lunch we head back to Beijing to walk the halls of the Summer Palace. Overnight Beijing.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an

This we visit the Temple of Heaven afterwards get lost in the Silk Alley markets. Tonight, we travel to Beijing rail station for our journey to Xi’an in Shaanxi Province Depart.

Day 5: Xi'an

Good morning and welcome to Xi'an. Upon arrival you will be met by our representitives and be transfered to your hotel. After we visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and take a bicycle ride along Xi’an 9 mile in length, medieval City Wall. Later in the afternoon experince the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the Muslim Market. Overnight Xi'an.

Day 6: Xi'an

This morning after breakfast we tour the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site where some 7,000 warriors stand in battle ready position and a factory demonstrating how the warriors are crafted. Spend the rest of the day at lesiure. Overnight Xi'an.

Day 7: Xi'an - Lijiang

This morning after breakfast we trasnfer you to the airport where you will fly to Lijiang. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representitives and transfered to your hotel. Today spend your time at lesiure to explore Dayan Old Town, sit in Sifang Street square and watch the locals go about their daily. Later tonight enjoy a night of Naxi Ancient Music and dance. Overnight Lijiang.

Day 8: Lijiang

Today after breakfast we go on a senic tour and get to visit the beatiful geography of the Leaping Tiger Gorge believed to be one of the deepest river canyons in the world. Also we get to visit the first bend in the Yangtze River the third largest river in the world. Overnight Lijiang.

Day 9: Lijiang - Kunming

Today enjoy an excursion to the stunning Jade Dragon Snow Mountain; its landscape includes one of the southernmost glaciers in the modern world. Shanzidou, the main peak of the mountain at 18,000 feet above sea level, looks like a gigantic dragon clad in white snow all year round. Access to the mountain is provided by a cable lift to Dragon Spruce Meadow, halfway to the glacier peak. Later tonight we board your overnight sleeper train to Kunming.

Day 10: Kunming

Welcome to Kunming. Upon arrival you will be met by our represtentitives and transfered to your hotel. Today enjoy a full day sightseeing of the Stone Forest. The illusion of this forest is caused by tall rocks similar to Stalagmites many looking like petrified trees. On returning to Kunming you will visit the beautiful town of Qi Cai Yunnan.

Day 11: Kunming - Guilin

This morning after breakfast we visit the Western Hills (Dragon Gate). From a distance these hills are said to look like a giant sleeping Buddha. Visit the Huating Temple one of the largest Buddhist temples in Yunnan Province. Also see Taihua Temple, Sanqing Pavilion, and Dragon Gate. Later today we trasfer you to the airport fro your flight to Guilin. Upon Arrival you wil be met by our representitives and transfered to your hotel. Overnigt Guilin

Day 12: Guilin

Today relax onboard a cruise on the Li River. Overnight Guilin.

Day 13: Guilin - Hong Kong

This morning after breakfast enjoy a tour of the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk hill so named becuase it looks like an elephant trunk drinking from the river. Later this afternoon we trasfer you to the aiport from your flight down to Hongkong. Upon arrival you will make your own arrangments to your hotel.
