Great Wall

Day 1: Beijing

Welcome to Beijing and the start of your holiday. Arrival transfer from airport to hotel.

Day 2: Beijing

Today, travel beyond Beijing to Badaling, where you can walk (and almost climb on some sections) on the Great Wall. No matter how many pictures you’ve seen, the Great Wall of China is grand. Following a ridge of barren hills through northern China, it stretches as far as the eye can see - at least 6,700 kms. Continuing, a visit is made to the tombs of the Ming emperors, where some 13 emperors were interred. The tombs are approached via a sacred gateway and gate houses. The evening you have free time.

Day 3: Beijing

Today you have a choice to have free time during the day or take one of our enhance options to Tian,anmen Square and the Forbidden City. In the afternoon we can take you the one of the best Go Karting clubs in Asia.

Summer Palace

Day 4: Beijing

Free morning, why not opt to take a walk through the local street market or head to Wangfujing Street for an alternative breakfast of stir fried scorpions or silk worms on a skewer? Later we visit the beautiful Emperor’s Summer Palace and drive past the 2008 Olympic Stadium and Aquatics Centre. Free time is offered in the cavernous Silk Alley Market,

Day 5: Beijing

Today again you have a choice, you can have your own free time to relax or you can take up our Beijing Temple, Palace and Markets enhance option, please see our enhance option for more details. Later on that evening we go to the major Beijing Bowling Club, Kara Ok and Disco in Beijing Mix Club.

Day 6: Beijing - Shanghai

This morning after breakfast we transfer to the train station for our Express Train to Shanghai. Upon arrival into Shanghai you are transferred to your hotel and you have the remaining time at your leisure.

Day 7: Shanghai

This morning you have a choice to take up another enhance option which is called Spectacular Shanghai, which is some great sightseeing in the city or choose to have your own time.

Day 8: Shanghai - Suzhou

This morning we take a train to Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. The charming city boasts extensive waterways and canals dotted with traditional bridges, houses and gardens. A cruise on the Grand Canal exposes Suzhou’s beauty, as does our exploration of the humble administrator’s house and garden.

Day 9: Suzhou - Shanghai

This morning after breakfast, we drive back to Shanghai via the ancient town of Tongil, arriving back into Shanghai late in the afternoon you have the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 10: Shanghai

Today we take a tour of some great up and coming places in Shanghai. Tianzifang is known for small craft stores, coffee shops, trendy art studios, narrow alleys and even French bistros. On to Xintiandi which is an affluent car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai, you can spend you time here until the early hours.

Day 11: Shanghai - Hong Kong

This morning after breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for the short flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival you will be met and taken to your hotel, The remaining time you have at your leisure.

Day 12: Hong Kong

Today we have a half day tour of the main city and the remainder of the day you are free to explore.

Lamma Island

Day 13: Hong Kong - Macau

This morning after breakfast we take a boat to Macau, the Las Vegas of the east. Upon arrival you will be taken to your hotel and given a quick orientation of the city. The remaining time you are free at your leisure to explore and maybe win big on the roulette.

Chinese silk

Day 14: Macau - Hong Kong

After chasing in your chips we pack up our belongings before heading back to the harbour for our boat back to Hong Kong. The remaining time you have at your leisure to pick up some last minute bargains.

Lantau Buddha

Day 15: Hong Kong

Today is the end of your adventure with On The Go. We will transfer you back to the airport for your onward flight home.
