Day 1: Chengdu

Upon arriving in Chengdu, your guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel for a short rest. Later they will take you out for dinner to enjoy Sichuan cuisine at a local restaurant.

After breakfast you will venture to the Panda Centre. Located just 10km (6miles) away from downtown Chengdu, the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Centre has been created and imitates the pandas' natural habitat in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. We then visit Wenshu Temple where you can spend some time sitting in its tea house enjoying a cup of traditional Chinese tea and absorb the special atmosphere of Chengdu and Jinli Old Street.

Day 3: Chengdu - Emei Shan

Today we visit Mt. Emei. We first visit Leidongping, where you need to walk to Jieyin Palace to take the cable car to reach the Golden Summit to enjoy the scenery. Later you descend by cable car and take the bus to Wannian Temple parking lot, where you will take the cable car up to visit the Wannian (Myriad Years) Temple which is the field for Samantabhadra, walk through Qingyin (Pure Note) Pavilion-the biggest natural ecology reserve area for monkeys, until you reach the Wuxiangang parking lot to take the touring bus down to the foot of the mountain. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 4: Emei Shan

After breakfast, we take you to visit Baoguo Temple before driving out to Leshan to visit the Giant Buddha carved out of the cliffs. You will then be driven to Zigong, where you will spend the night. Overnight - Tanmulin Celebrity Hotel.

Day 5:

This morning we visit the Salt-mining Museum and the Dinosaur Museum in Zigong before heading for Dazu to view two major sites of Dazu Rock Carvings - the Beishan (North Mountain) Grottoes and Baoding Grottoes. You will spend the night in Dazu County. Overnight - Ramada Plaza Chonging West Hotel.

Day 6:

This morning we transfer you on to Chongqing, where you enjoy a tour of the city including: Erling Park, the Stillwell Museum and Ciqikou ancient town before we transfer you to your Yangtze cruise boat you have booked yourself.
