Great Wall

Day 1: Beijing

Welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Enjoy an arrival transfer to our hotel from Tianjin airport,where you sit back and relax after your long flight.

Forbidden City

Day 2: Beijing

This morning, We explore the heart of Beijing including the vast Tiananmen Square. Dominating the city’s heart is the Forbidden City, a centre of power for five centuries and seat of the emperors. We will also explore the Temple of Heaven and the Hutong Residential Area.

Day 3: Beijing

Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to Badaling, where we can walk a section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences! Continuing a short distance from Badaling, we visit the tombs of the Ming emperors.

Summer Palace

Day 4: Beijing - Datong

Today, we visit Silk Alley markets and the beautiful Summer Palace. We will also visit the Beijing Zoo where you can choose to visit the panda's, and will drive past Olympic Park to view the 'Birds Nest' and Watercube. Tonight, we travel to Beijing rail station for our journey to Datong.

Day 5: Datong

Welcome to Datong, we will meet you at the train station and transfer you to the hotel for breakfast. We then head out to explore the Yungang Grottoes, the Nine Dragon Wall and The Hanging Monastery. This evening is free time to relax in your own time.

Day 6: Datong - Pingyao

This morning enjoy a private transfer to Pingyao which boasts the famous Pingyao Old City included in the United Nations World Cultural Heritage in 1997. From the top of the grand City Wall, you have a bird's-eye view of the Old City, a complete city built almost a thousand years ago. We also visit the Ancient Ming and Qing Street constructed in the original architectural style.

Day 7: Pingyao - Xi'an

This morning we visit to Shuanglin Temple, and Qiao's family. We then make our way to Taiyuan. Tonight you board your overnight train to Xian. (Sleeper train K2669 2150/0746+1)

Day 8: Xi'an

We will be there to meet you at the hotel and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore on your own.

Day 9: Xi'an

Before visiting the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site, we visit a workshop where we see the process used to create the terracotta figurines. In battle formation, the Terracotta Warriors are one of China’s most awesome sights. We will also visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. Tonight we enjoy an evening Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 10: Xi'an - Guilin

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guilin. We will be there to meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 11: Guilin

This morning we will venture to Longsheng for a full days touring of the highlights of this area which will include rice terraces and Seven Star cave. Today you will be see Panda's.

Day 12: Guilin

This morning your Li River cruise departs from downtown Guilin. The 90 Km Li River cruise is the centerpiece of any trip to northeastern Guangxi Province. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Bear witness to rural China as peasants reap rice paddies, school kids and fisherman float by on bamboo rafts. We will arrive in to Yangshuo where you can explore before we take you back to Guilin.

Day 13: Guilin

This morning you pay a visit to The Reed Flute Cave. Within the cave there are enchanting stalagmites, stone pillars, stele, stone curtains and stone flowers. Then we continue on to Elephant Trunk Hill Located at the confluence of the Taohua (Peach Blossom) River. You will then be transferred to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong.
