Day 1: Beijing

Welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Enjoy an arrival transfer to our hotel, where you can sit back and relax after your long flight. If arriving into Terminal 2, please turn right once you've passed customs to reach the pick up point. If arriving Terminal 3, you will be met just outside of the restricted area.

Day 2: Beijing

This morning we explore the heart of Beijing including the vast Tiananmen Square where Chairman Mao’s tomb and various monuments to the people are located. Dominating the city’s heart is the Forbidden City. We will also visit the Temple of Heaven. This evening enjoy a Peking Duck dinner Banquet.

Day 3: Beijing

Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to Mutianyu, where we can walk a section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences! Continuing a short distance we visit the tombs of the Ming emperors and cloisonne workshop.

Day 4: Beijing - Qingdao

This morning we will visit the beautiful Summer Palace, set on Kunming Lake, where we view the lavishly decorated temples, halls and courts. This afternoon we will transfer you to the Airport for your flight to Quingdao. Arrive Qingdao and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free and at your leisure.
