Welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Enjoy an arrival transfer to our hotel, where you can sit back and relax after your long flight.
This morning, we set out to explore the heart of Beijing including the vast Tiananmen Square where Chairman Mao’s tomb and various monuments to the people are located. Dominating the city’s heart is the Forbidden City, a centre of power for five centuries and seat of the emperors. Entering through the Gate of Heavenly Peace (replete with Chairman Mao’s portrait), we enjoy a guided walk of this old city within a city.
Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to Badaling, where we can walk a section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences! Continuing a short distance from Badaling, we visit the tombs of the Ming emperors before heading back to Beijing.
Today, we visit Silk Alley markets and the beautiful Summer Palace. Later today we travel to Beijing train station for the overnight train to Xi’an in Shaanxi Province.
We will pick you up from the train station and transfer you to the hotel. Today's highlights will be a visit to Huaqing Hot Springs, a scenic spot in the shadow of Li Mountain. Before visiting the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site, we visit a workshop where we see the process used to create the terracotta figurines. In battle formation, the Terracotta Warriors are one of China’s most awesome sights.
After breakfast today, we visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Muslim Quarter. Encircling the old city is Xi’an’s medieval City Wall, where we enjoy a hired bike ride. Enjoy free time to explore for the remainder of your day.
We venture to the aiport this morning for your flight to Hong Kong where upon arrival we transfer you to your hotel.
For the next 2 days enjoy free time to discover the highlights of this compact metropolis that touches the sky's, Hong Kong is known for its shopping im sure you will find many bargains.
Today a relaxing beach stay is on the menu! We transfer you to the aiport for your short flight to Sanya.
Sanya is a noted tourist resort with mountains, sea, river and city. For your remaining days with us enjoy a unique tropical oceanic landscape that is totally different from the other provinces of China. Sanya Bay, Yalong Bay and Dadonghai, all golden seaboards of Sanya, are some of the first choices for visitors to spend their holidays.
