Travelling west, we journey to Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. One of China’s most charming cities, it’s fame rests on it’s waterways, and canals that are dotted with traditional bridges, houses and gardens. A cruise on the Grand Canal exposes Suzhou’s beauty. Renown for it’s silk, we also visit a silk workshop together with the Humble Administrators Garden and Lingering before returning to Shanghai.
Today you will be transferred to the Suzhou station where you will board a high speed train to Shanghai. Then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight Guilin. Upon arriving in Guilin you will be transferred to your hotel. Later today you will visit Elephant Trunk Hill and the gargantuan Reed Flute Cave.
This morning you take a river cruise along the River Li including a delicious lunch. In the afternoon take a visit to West Street, the oldest street in Yangshuo and home to a vast array of craft and calligraphy shops, cafes, restaurants and Kung Fu academies.
This morning you are transferred back to Guilin by car or bus. End of arrangements
