Day 1: Shanghai

Huan ying, welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Shanghai

Today we will visit Maoming South Road, Shanxi Road and Changle Road where you will have the opportunity to have clothes made by one of the expert tailor’s. This afternoon enjoy a city tour which includes the Oriental Pearl TV tower, the Jade Buddha Temple, charming Yuyuan Gardens. Experience the city’s vitality and take in Shanghai, both old and new on the Bund and take a cruise on the Huangpu River to see the city from a different perspective. End the day with a relaxing drink in the Music Room Bar, located high up on the 92nd floor of the The Shanghai World Financial Centre.

Day 3: Shanghai

This morning try your hand at bargaining at Taobao City the equivalent of Beijing's Silk Alley Markets. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. Tonight enjoy dinner at the South Beauty Restaurant.

Day 4: Shanghai

Enjoy two hands on cooking lessons at the Chinese Cooking Workshop, recommended by The New York Times as a ‘must-try in shanghai’. Established in 2003 to help expats working, living and traveling in shanghai to get a better understanding of Chinese culture, especially Chinese food. Watch a demonstration by the chef in a Chinese Wok Course where you will learn 3 different recipes and Chinese Dim Sim where you will learn 2 recipes.

Day 5: Shanghai

Return to Maoming South Road, Shanxi Road and Changle Road to pick up your newly made clothes. The rest of the day is at your leisure. This evening enjoy dinner at the Lvbolang Restaurant.

Day 6: Shanghai

Enjoy some retail therapy on Nanjing Road, China's premier shopping street. Visit Chenghuang Temple, Tianzifang known for small craft stores, coffee shops, trendy art studios, narrow alleys and French bistros. Continue on to Xintiandi which is a car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai.

Day 7: Shanghai

Your food and shopping tour comes to and end today, we hope you have enjoyed all that Shanghai has to offer. You will be transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight.
