Great Wall

Day 1: Beijing

Welcome to Beijing the capital of China. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transported to you accommodation. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Beijing

Day 2: Beijing

Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to Mutianyu, where we can walk a section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences! Overnight Beijing.

Day 3: Beijing

Today, we embark on a guided tour of the nation’s capital. Tiananmen Square, a patriotic vision of grandeur and the Forbidden city, the walled city of the former Chinese emperors boasting stunning temples, courtyards and reception halls. Today you will also visit the Summer Palace. Overnight Beijing.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an

Today you take the express train to Xian. Upon arrival in Xian you will be met by our local representatives. Today enjoy a trip to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda(Dayan Pagoda) a symbol of the old-line Xian, it is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. Overnight Xian.

Day 5: Xi'an - Shanghai

Emperor Qin’s Terracotta Warriors are reputed to be the greatest discovery of the 20th century - 7,000 life-sized clay soldiers stand ready for battle. Afterwards you are transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Shanghai. Head out to the bund to partake in some Tai Chi. Overnight Shanghai

Day 6: Shanghai

This morning you visit the Shanghai Museum; a museum of ancient Chinese art, situated on the People's Square. Afterwards Enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Huangpu River. The river is the last significant tributary of the Yangtze before it empties into the East China Sea. This evening you are in for a treat as you enjoy an Acrobatics show. Overnight Shanghai.

Day 7: Shanghai - Suzhou

Travelling west, we journey to Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. One of China’s most charming cities, it’s fame rests on it’s waterways, and canals that are dotted with traditional bridges, houses and gardens. A cruise on the Grand Canal exposes Suzhou’s beauty. Today you will also visit Suxhou's Industrial park. Overnight Suzhou.

Day 8: Suzhou - Hangzhou

Leaving Suzhou you travel to Hangzhou. Renowned in medieval China as an earthly paradise, Hangzhou became the splendid capital of the flourishing Southern Song Dynasty between 1138 and 1279. Today you will visit West Lake and Hefang Street, a historical cultural street area located at the foot of the scenic Wushan Hill of southern Hangzhou and quite close to the famous West Lake. Day 9: Hangzhou

Enjoy a visit to Leifeng Pagoda. Leifeng Pagoda is a five storey tall tower with eight sides, located on Sunset Hill south of West Lake in Hangzhou. Overnight Hangzhou.

Day 10: Hangzhou

Continuing south you travel for about 2 hours to the sea side port of Ningbo. Enjoy a tour of the port area and of a local car factory. Overnight Ningbo.

Day 11: - Shenzhen

Taking to the skies you are transferred from Ningbo to the airport in time for your flight to Shenzhen. Today Shenzhen is one of China's wealthiest and most commercially successful cities. Many of the surrounding hills have been taken over by the expanding population of the city, now experiencing an economic boom. The world’s ninth tallest building is in Shenzhen and the Shun Hing building is the world’s tallest steel building. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and visit the Splendid China. Overnight Shenzhen

Day 12: Shenzhen - Macau

In the morning, you will be transferred to the pier to catch ferry to Macau. Upon arrival into Macau you will visit the Ruins of St.Paul, Mount Fortress a istorical military centre of the former Portuguese colony. You will also visit Macao Senado square and A-Ma Temple situated on the southwest tip of the Macau Peninsula, is one of the oldest and most famous Taoist temples in Macau. Overnight Macau.

Day 13: Macau

Sadly your time with us has come to an end as you are transferred to the ferry terminal in time for your departure to Hong Kong.
