Day 1: Kunming

Welcome to Kunming and the beginning of your holiday with us! We will be there to meet you at Kunming. You will be met by your guide and we will visit the bird and flower market, Jinma and Biji Archway on the way to the hotel.

Day 2: Kunming

Today you visit the premier natural attraction of Kunming, Shilin, the Stone Forest, an exposed bed of limestone karst spires weathered and split into amazing clusters that take on the appearance of a petrified forest, return to Kunming. Overnight - King World Hotel

Day 3: Kunming - Dali

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Dali. We then enjoy sightseeing in Dali including a cruise on Lake Erhai. Then off to the famous Three Pagodas, built when the region was a major Buddhist centre, Dali’s distinctively tall pagodas remain upright, despite wars and earthquakes. You'll also have some time to explore the Old Town and Xizhou Bai house. Overnight - King World Hotel

Day 4: Dali - Lijiang

Leaving Dali, we travel to Lijiang. The seat of the Naxi minority peoples, Lijiang lies north-west of Tibet in a fantastic mountain setting. The Naxi are a matriarchal society descended from a race of Tibetan nomads who settled the region before the 10th century. We visit to Black Dragon Pool, and Shuhe Old town. Day 5: Lijiang

Visit the Yuanshan Terrace (By chairlift) of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, we visit the Jade water village, Baisha Mural and Baisha village, Shuhe Old Town. Overnight - Sanhe Hotel

Day 6: Lijiang - Tiger Leaping Gorge

Today you dicover Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia). Some 16km long and up to 3000m deep, it is the worlds deepest canyon. The gorge is so narrow at various points that legend has it a tiger once escaped pursuit by leaping across. visiting the gorge, you’ll have a chance to hike along a section of the stunning gorge and take in the dramatic, yet stark scenery (here we enjoy about 2 hours walking) and the First Bend of the Yangtze River (Just to have a look), travel to Shigu (enjoy about 1 hour walking).
