The Great Wall of China is a must see experience so today we have included a drive beyond Beijing to Badaling. Here with your expert guide you can walk a section of the famous Great Wall. Returning to Beijing in the afternoon we enjoy touring the Summer Palace. This vast complex is replete with lavishly decorated temples, halls and courts, reconstructed in 1902 at the whim of the extravagant Dowager Empress Cixi.
This morning, we tour the centre of Beijing, China's magnificent capital, including the massive Tiananmen Square and the sprawling Forbidden City. Boasting some 9999 rooms, the city within a city was once the sole preserve of the Chinese emperors. We conclude the days touring with a visit to the stunning Temple of Heaven and if you like a walk in the surrounding park land.
This morning say goodbye to your Beijing guide and transfer to the airport for the flight to Xian. Here, our rep will be waiting for you and transfer you to the hotel for breakfast. Later we tour the lofty Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The complex of temples, pagoda’s and expansive gardens, constructed during the 7th century. The fun starts now as we take a leisurely bicycle ride (solo or tandem) atop the well-preserved Xi’an city wall. At a minimum of 6 metres in width, 9 miles in length - with no steep inclines the wall offers a great vantage point for peeping down upon the city hubbub below.
Today we have included for you the must see sight of Xian - The Terracotta Warrior archaeological site, where some 7,000 warriors stand in battle ready position. Remainder of the afternoon at leisure.
This morning you are flying to Chongqing, the start point for our exciting Yangtze River cruise. Before boarding the cruise the we can stroll along Chongqing’s People’s Square and other highlights in the city centre.

At 6340km in length, the Yangtze is the 3rd longest river in the world, neatly dividing China into north and south and wending its way through eight very different provinces. For today and tomorrow enjoy the cruise schedule sightseeing tours and passing the amazing gorges.
Today you disembark in Yichang after your visit to the Dam, our local guide then assists you to the train station to embark the high speed train to Wuhan. Arriving here we will transfer you to your hotel.
