Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to Badaling, where we can walk a section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences! Continuing a short distance from Badaling, we visit the tombs of the Ming emperors. We also make a visit to a cloisonne workshop, where we’ll see firsthand the unique Chinese art of combining copper and enamel to make decorative pieces. There’s a shop if you fancy splashing a little cash.
This morning, We explore the heart of Beijing including the vast Tiananmen Square where Chairman Mao’s tomb and various monuments to the people are located. Dominating the city’s heart is the Forbidden City, a centre of power for five centuries and seat of the emperors. Entering through the Gate of Heavenly Peace (replete with Chairman Mao’s portrait), we enjoy a guided walk of this old city within a city.
This morning we head out to the Summer Palace, set in a park, two thirds of which is a lake. Built on the north of the lake, the palaces, theatre, bridges and marble boat make this a picturesque sight. This evening we will transfer you to the train station for your overnight train to Xian
Arrive Xi’an at 8 am, we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. We visit Huaqing Hot Springs, a scenic spot in the shadow of Li Mountain. Before visiting the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site, we visit a workshop where we see the process used to create the terracotta figurines. In battle formation, the Terracotta Warriors are one of China’s most awesome sights.
Today, we visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Muslim Quarter. Encircling the old city is Xi’an’s medieval City Wall, where we enjoy a hired bike ride. Late afternoon flight to Chongqing. Transfer to your hotel, remaining day free
Today we board your Yagtze cruise at 10am. You can participate in cultural programs on board the Yangtze cruise. Later on Visit to Fnegdu Ghost City

Today we arrive to old capital of China: Nanjing. Visit to Nanjing City and Confucius Temple.
Arrive shanghai at 0800. Met by guide, transfer to hotel. Later on enjoy guided tour including Bund, TV Tower, Jade Buddha Temple, old city, Naning Road
Travelling west, we journey to Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. One of China’s most charming cities, it’s fame rests on it’s waterways, and canals that are dotted with traditional bridges, houses and gardens. A cruise on the Grand Canal exposes Suzhou’s beauty. Renown for it’s silk, we also visit a silk workshop before returning to Shanghai.
Today we bid you farewell with a departure transfer to the Airport. Based on the magical places you have visited in China I am sure you will have many special memories to ponder on your long flight home.
