Day 1: Beijing

Welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Enjoy an arrival transfer to our hotel, where you sit back and relax after your long flight.

Day 2: Beijing

After breakfast your guide will start your city tour with a visit to the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. After time for lunch we enjoy a visit to Temple of Heaven. Overnight - Rainbow Hotel

Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to Badaling, where we can walk a section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences! We then head to the Summer Palace, set in a park, two thirds of which is a lake. Built on the north of the lake, the palaces, theatre, bridges and marble boat make this a picturesque sight. Day 4: Beijing

Day at leisure for you to explore on your own. Overnight - Rainbow Hotel

Day 5: Beijing - Ya'an

We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Chengdu and onward transfer to Ya'an. Overnight - Rainbow Hotel

Days 6-8: Ya'an

For the next 3 days you will be volunteering at the Bixiafeng Panda reserve. Overnight - Bifengxia Grand Hotel

Day 9: Ya'an - Hong Kong

We will transfer you to Chengdu for the flight to Hong Kong. On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight - Bifengxia Grand Hotel

Day 10: Hong Kong

Day at leisure to explore. Overnight - Nathan Hotel

Day 11: Hong Kong
