Welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Enjoy an arrival transfer to our hotel, where you sit back and relax after your long flight.
Don some comfortable shoes. Today we drive out of the city to the Mutianyu section to walk the section of the Great Wall. Some sections are fairly steep, but the walk on the vast wall that snakes for thousands of kilometres is one of those ‘must do’ experiences! Continuing a short distance from Mutianyu, we visit the Summer Palace.
Free day and at your leisure. Suggested guided tour to the heart of Beijing including the vast Tienanmen Square where Chairman Mao’s tomb and various monuments to the people are located. Also recommend a visit to the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. .
Free day and at your leisure. Later this evening we will transfer you to the railway station for the overnight sleeper train to Xian. Train number Z19, departs at 2124 and arrives at 0825
Arrive Xi’an at 0825 and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Later today we visit Huaqing Hot Springs, a scenic spot in the shadow of Li Mountain. Before visiting the Terracotta Warrior archaeological site, we visit a workshop where we see the process used to create the terracotta figurines. In battle formation, the Terracotta Warriors are one of China’s most awesome sights.
Free day and at your leisure. Suggested guided tour to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Muslim Quarter. Encircling the old city is Xi’an’s medieval City Wall, where you can enjoy a hired bike ride.
Today we will transfer you to the Airport in time for your flight to Chengdu. Arrive Chengdu and you will be met and transferred to the Ya'an Nature reserve.
Enjoy a full day visit to the Bixiafeng Panda reserve.
Enjoy a full day visit to the Bixiafeng Panda reserve. Later we will transfer you back to Chengdu in the afternoon for some rest and relaxation.
After breakfast you will venture to the Panda Centre. Located just 10km (6miles) away from downtown Chengdu, the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Centre has been created and imitates the pandas' natural habitat in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. It's a full day excursion where you will also get to see other endangered species and the famous giant Buddha sculpture.
Today we drive out to Mt Emai, here you will enjoy spectacular views from this sacred mountain to the Buddhists you will visit the Baoguo Temple and the Wannian Temple here before returning to Chengdu for the night.
Today we will transfer you to the Airport for your flight to Shanghai. Arrive Shanghai and you will be met and transferred to your hotel . Rest of the day is free and at your leisure.
