Welcome to China! Upon arrival into Chongqing you will be met the airport by our representitive and transferred to the port for your Yangtze River cruise. At 6340km in length, the Yangtze is the 3rd longest river in the world, neatly dividing China into north and south and wending its way through eight very different provinces. The first gorge we pass, Qutangxia Gorge is the shortest and narrowest yet the most impressive. Next comes Wuxia Gorge, which straddles Sichuan and Hubei Provinces.
Yangtze River cruise. Wake up call by music then enjoy Taichi exertcise. Buffet breakfast provided. Fengdu-Ghost City Optional tour. You'll join in a lecture of Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. After lunch enjoy the excursion to ShibaoZhai.

A shore excursion to the worksite of The Three Gorges Project. Passes through the 3rd gorge, Xiling Gorge. Arrive at Yichang, you will be met by your guide and transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival we will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for the evening.

Afternoon rickshaw ride navigating the old back lanes and courtyards of Beijing’s Hutongs.
Today we walk the famous Great Wall. Said to be seen from space, the enduring symbol of Chinese civilisation and genius is a prize national treasure. The UNESCO protected Great Wall of China was built as a defensive structure to protect China against marauding invaders from the north. We also visit the Summer palace, the vast complex is replete with lavishly decorated temples, halls and courts, reconstructed in 1902 at the whim of the extravagant Dowager Empress Cixi.
