Day 1: Beijing
Huan ying, welcome to China and the start of your holiday! Airport arrival transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day offers free time.
Day 2: Beijing
Today, we embark on a guided tour of the nation’s capital. Tiananmen Square, a patriotic vision of grandeur and the Forbidden city, the walled city of the former Chinese emperors boasting stunning temples, courtyards and reception halls. This afternoon consider to enhance your holiday with our optional Hutongs of Beijing.
Day 3: Beijing
Today we walk the famous Great Wall of China. Said to be seen from space, the enduring symbol of Chinese civilisation and genius is a prize national treasure. Today’s visit offers a healthy, if steep and vertiginous walk with breathtaking views of the Chinese countryside.
Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
This morning we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival enjoy a tour of the lofty Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the well-preserved Xi’an city wall and Muslim market.
Day 5: Xi'an
Emperor Qin’s Terracotta Warriors are reputed to be the greatest discovery of the 20th century - 7,000 life-sized clay soldiers stand ready for battle. We visit the archaeological site and the workshop where the replica warriors are crafted.
Day 6: Xi'an - Yangtze & Three Gorges
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Wuhan. Upon arrival take the fast train to Yichang. From here we will transfer you to your Yangtze cruiser.
Days 7-9: Yangtze & Three Gorges
Good morning from the River Yangtze! The next few days are spent cruising the river.
Day 10: Yangtze & Three Gorges - Lijiang
Disembarking in Chongqing we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Lijiang. Upon arrival enjoy a tor of the Black Dragon Pool and Dayan Old Town.
Day 11: Lijiang
Today we will visit the Yunshan Terrace (by chairlift) of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain on the surface of a picturesque lake, Jade Water Village, Baisha Mural and the Baisha Village.
Day 12: Lijiang - Dali
Today travel approx. 3.5 hours by coach to Dali. Here you will visit the Three Pagodas and Butterfly Spring.
Day 14: Dali - Kunming
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Kunming. Here you will visit the Western Hill Dragon Gate and Jinma Archway.
Day 15: Kunming
Capital of Yunnan Province, Kunming lies 2000m above sea level. Its gentle weather and abundance of flowers have earned it the name ‘City of Eternal Sprin. Driving to Shilin we visit the Stone Forest.
Day 16: Kunming - Guilin
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival we will transfer you to your hotel and the remainder of the day is free.
Day 19: Guilin - Shanghai
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival we will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for the evening.
Day 20: Shanghai
Today enjoy a tour of the Yu Gardens Old Town, Bund, Xintlandi area, Nanpu Bridge and Pudong. This evening enjoy a cruise along the Huangpu River
