Hi Craig, When we arrived in Cairo we immediately identified Ahmed, the airport representative and he took us through customs in a light flash. Out in the streets of Cairo we had a great time driving towards our hotel and the rep, Mohammed nr 1, was amazing at telling us what to do and where to go. The hotels were some of the best I have seen in the world! And the hotel staff carried us on their hands. The additional options we did before the tour started was great at keeping us busy in Crazy Cairo. When we started our tour we were spoilt with the BEST EVER TOUR GUIDE, Big Mo , you are a legend! We had such a good time with him. He informed us of all the pro's and con's such as how much to pay for certain things and what not to miss out on. He also provided us with in-flight entertainment on the train from Cairo to Aswan by recording someone snoring and playing it back when she woke up. His knowledge on Egyptology was excellent! The Felucca cruise was one of the highlights, the captains and Fuzzy made us the best food and we had an all round good time on the Nile . Big Mo's soccer event in the desert was unforgettable - of course his team won 5-2 and I was proud to be his goal keeper! When we had to leave him behind in Luxor for our next part of the trip, he issued us all with certificates graduating from his University together with a scarab. He wanted to keep mine as I yelled and ran around in the temple of Luxor thinking bats were chasing me, but I graduated eventually. Aw, Big Mo , you are a legend amongst legends! Even if you pointed and laughed at me more than I deserved! Leaving one great legend behind, we met up with Mostafa. My favourite Egyptian!! Dahab-time with Mostafa! He made sure we had great times all round with the best food and best entertainment one can find in Dahab. Sea food can't get any better than that! His excitement to summit Mount Sinai made that long walk worth it. Parting with Mostafa, we met up with Simone, who was as awesome as the rest. She was so much fun and really clicked well with the Russians. <heehee>. Setting foot in Jordan we met Abe aka Ibrahim. Somewhat quiet but all he needed was the Bedouin feast in the Wadi Rum to show how much fun he could be. Jordan was so grand. The dead sea bobbing was a dream come true and I would recommend that to anyone. Thank you Nash for taking us back to Cairo from Taba in a warm bus. Thank you for the drivers of the excellent coaches, the drivers of the airport shuttles and the Airport representatives who made sure we left Cairo happy. Thank you very much for looking after my partner & me when we arrived on the 16/10/07 & departed on the 25/10/07 from Cairo airport. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel for the first 2 days which was really great.  Also our guide was very good as well.  We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise on the Nile & the sightseeing was wonderful. Dear Janet, We had a great time in Egypt. The arrangements that you made for us were perfect. Our guides were knowledgeable and delightful.  We were greeted at the airport with a smile from Ahmed of the Cairo office. He had our visas ready and then guided us through customs and to the Mena House. When we arrived at the hotel, he gave us the rest of our materials and discussed our arrangements for the next day. Our guide in Cairo, Sam, was courteous, knowledgeable and lots of fun. Our guide in Luxor, Ahmed, was much the same.  One of the most valuable people we met was Ahmed from the Cairo office. He assured our safe and timely arrivals and departures and kept in contact with us at all times. Dear Janet, We just wanted to report to you the wonderful time we had in Egypt.  It was so nice to have your representatives Ahmed Awad and Khaled meet us, take us to our hotels, introduce the guides, and take us back to the airport.  It made travel so easy not having to worry about these details, not having to worry about how much to pay, how much to tip, etc.  The sleeper train to Luxor was a new experience for us and it went very well.  Your representatives met us at unusual times of the morning and nights and made our life easy. The guides that were assigned to take us to visit the antiquities were also very nice.  They were knowledgeable, informative, flexible and more than willing to accommodate our desires.  This is true although it was the end of Ramadan, Waleed Kamouna could not eat or drink.  Still he took us to the pyramids without complaint about the heat and how he must have suffered. At the end of Ramadan, it was festival time and Ahmed Said needed to leave his family to be with us, but was pleasant and never complained. Ahmed explained things to me again and again. It was truly a rewarding experience for us, all we could have asked for and more. We have already recommended On The Go to other Americans that we met. We’ll expect baksheesh for our goodwill! At Mt. Sinai, Nashaat Nubil Fawzy hiked to the top of the mountain with me.  I expected him to show me the trail and send me on my way. Nash is one strong hiker. I know because I’m one strong hiker and I didn’t walk away from Nash. We asked On The Go for an added one day trip to Suez. (We wanted to see the canal).  It’s Nash’s home town.  He escorted us, showed us the places where he grew up, the churches of Suez and introduced us to his family.
