Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight at Mercure Pyramids 4* hotel in Cairo (standard room)

Day 2: Cairo

Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara for more sights. Overnight at Mercure Pyramids 4* hotel in Cairo (standard room)

Day 3: Cairo - Abu Simbel

Transfer to Cairo airport for your internal flight to Abu Simbel. Arrive Abu Simbel and visit Abu Simbel Temple Evening sound and light show at Abu Simbel. Overnight at Seti Abu Simbel 4* hotel in Abu Simbel (standard room)

Day 4: Abu Simbel - Aswan

Transfer to Abu Simbel airport for your internal flight to Aswan. Arrive Aswan airport and transfer to Aswan hotel Full day tour including High Dam, Philae and unfinished Obelisk guided by English speaking guide. Overnight at Helnan 4* hotel in Aswan (standard room)

Day 5: Aswan - Luxor

Transfer from Aswan to Luxor. Arrive to Luxor hotel.Remaining day at leisure. Overnight at Sonesta 5* hotel in Luxor (standard room)

Valley of the Kings

Day 6: Luxor

After breakfast we visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. After a visit the Mummy museum where you will learn about the process of mummification. Later on we visit Luxor temple. Overnight at Sonesta 5* hotel in Luxor (standard room)

Day 7: Luxor

Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our half day sightseeing. These are all that remain of the temple of Amenophis III. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Overnight at Sonesta 5* hotel in Luxor (standard room)

Day 8: Luxor

Transfer to Luxor airport. Arrive Cairo and connect to final departure flight
