Pyramid at Giza

Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt's capital and Africa's largest city: Cairo. Upon arrival you will be met and guided through passport control and baggage collection. After essential airport formalities you will be transferred directly to your hotel for your time in Cairo. Upon reaching the hotel we will assist with your check in and then the evening is free and at your leisure.

Day 2: Cairo

We head out today to visit the famous pyramids and lion headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planets oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara, we can explore the myriad tombs and temples at this site.

Day 3: Cairo

Today we will take you on a guided excursion to the citadel, Khan el Khalili markets and then on to see the dazzling antiquities of ancient Egypt at the Egypt Museum.

Alexander the Great

Day 4: Cairo - Alexandria

Today you will enjoy an a day tour (with lunch) to amazing Alexandria on the Mediterranean Coast. Founded by Alexander the Great, Alexandria boasts wonderful beaches and an impressive seafront corniche, along which are dotted cafes and restaurants, as well as catacombs, souks and relics from a bygone age.

Day 5: Alexandria - Luxor

We return to Cairo later this afternoon and we will take you to the train station for your overnight train to Luxor.

Valley of the Kings

Day 6: Luxor

On your arrival we will be there to meet you and take you to your hotel for the night. Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our day's sightseeing. These are all that remain of the temple of Amenophis III. Today, we visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut and The Amazing Temple's of Karnak!

Day 7: Luxor - Sharm el Sheikh

Free morning. We will take you to the Airport for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. On your arrival in Sharm El Sheikh we will be there to meet you and take you to your hotel for the night.

Day 8: Sharm el Sheikh

Enjoy your time in the Sharm El Sheikh soaking up the sun and dipping in the warm waters of the Red Sea. Here you can opt to go snorkelling or diving or just lay back on a sunlounger on the hotels private beach.

Day 9: Sharm el Sheikh

Free day and at your leisure.

Day 10: Sharm el Sheikh - Amman

This morning we will take you to the Airport for your flight to Amman. Welcome to Jordan and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at Queen Alia airport and assist you through customs and then transfer you to your hotel in Amman for the night. After a short rest we will take you on a city tour of Amman. The rest of the evening is free and at your leisure.

Day 11: Amman - Petra

This morning after breakfast we drive to Petra and visit Karak, Madaba and Mount Nebo on the way. We stop at the Dead Sea for Lunch and then head to Petra for the night.

Day 12: Petra

Welcome to the Rose City! Access to the city on our guided exploration is through the famous narrow, deep siq. The rocks then give way to the most amazing site – that of the fantastically impressive Treasury. Walking down the gravel tracks, we’ll explore the ancient Nabatean tombs and the Roman rock-carved streets lined with temples, royal tombs, staircases, arched gates, public buildings and more the intrepid can ascend to Ad Deir better known as the monestery.

Day 13: Petra

Today marks the end of your journey with us. After breakfast and hotel check out we transfer you to the Queen Alia airport in Amman for your onward departure journey.
