Day 1: Cairo - Alexandria
Today you will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo and be transferred by Road to Alexandria. The rest of the afternoon will be free for you to settle in and explore.
Day 2: Alexandria
Today we start our sightseeing with a visit to the Greeco Roman Museam followed by a guided exploration of the Catacombs and Pompey's Pillar.
Day 3: Alexandria
Today we take a full day trip to El Alamein, the sight of two major battles in 1942. Now El Alamein is visited for both its War Museum and the many cemeteries of German, Italian and Commonwealth forces which serve as a constant reminder or the sacrifices made on all sides. We return to Alexandria for the evening.
Days 4-5: Alexandria - Cairo
Today we say goodbye to Alexandria and head back to Cairo for one last night before our onward departure transfer.
