Welcome to Egypt's capital and Africa's largest city: Cairo. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred directly to your hotel. Upon reaching the hotel we will assist with your check-in and then the evening is yours to relax and freshen up.
Today you shall go on a full day tour to El Alamein visit the cemetery and the military museum guided by English speaking guide. El Alamein is a historic battle ground that played an important role in the Second World War. Here some 13,000 British and Commonwealth soldiers gave their lives in two extended battles, and today their sacrifice is commemorated in a desert war cemetery with row upon row of grave stones and memorials to British, Australian and New Zealand soldiers. Later you will be transferred to Alexandria where you shall spend the night.
Today in the afternoon you will be transferred from Alexandria to Cairo.
Visit to the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara, we can explore the myriad tombs and temples at this site.
Today morning you shall fly to Aswan where you shall visit the High Dam and Philae temple. Afterwards you shall be transferred to your hotel. Later this afternoon you get the opportunity to go on a Felucca trip on the Nile.
This morning early we fly to the not to be missed Temple of Abu Simbel. Abu Simbel is one of the greatest Egyptian monuments ever built. The entire temple was moved from the banks of Nile when Lake Nasser was formed. Later today you shall board the Nile Cruiser.
Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. You Shall also visit Edfu, one of Egypt's best preserved temples then after passing through the Esna Lock we will reach Luxor - Egypt's open air museum.
There is the option to float over Luxor in a hot air balloon and see the area wake up and come alive. Afterwards, we cross to the West Bank, where we’ll see the massive Colossi of Memnon. We’ll then explore the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Today we will take you to the complex of temples at Karnak. Evening flight to Cairo. Later today ypu shall be transferred to Luxor airport to fly to Cairo Upon arriving in Cairo you shall be transferred to the Cairo hotel. Overnight at Cairo hotel
