Today you will enjoy a full day tour of the Pyramids, Sphinx and Sakkara. Transfer to Giza station to board your sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner & overnight on board.
Today you will embark on your Nile Cruise. But not before a very early morning flight to see Abu Simbel. You will visit the High Dam and Philae temple. Philae Temple - dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple dates from 4th century BC but the Ptolomies and the Romans up to 3rd century AD built most of the existing structures. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board.
This morning sail to Kom Ombo while enjoying breakfast on board. Then visist Kom Ombo Temple. The Temple of Kom Ombo (or more correctly - the Temple of Haroeris and Sobek) stands on a low promontory near a bend in the river whose sandbanks were a basking point for crocodiles in ancient times. It is a unique riverside temple, unusual in that everything is architecturally doubled and perfectly symmetrical along the main axis of the temple. Sail to Edfu during lunch then explore Edfu Temple.
Sail to Luxor, 4000-year old Luxor has frequently been characterised as the "world's greatest open air museum". Visit Luxor & Karnak Temples. The Temple of Karnak - a spectacular open-air complex of sanctuaries, pylons, chapels, halls and obelisks, all dedicated to the Theban gods and to the greater glory of Egypt’s Middle and New Kingdom rulers is number two on the visitor ‘hit list’ after the pyramids and Sphinx at Giza.
Today you will visit the West bank ( Valley of the Kings, Valley of Queens, Hatshepsut temple and Colossi of Memnon, the massive pair of statues. Transfer from your Nile Cruise to Luxor Station to board sleeper train to Cairo. Experience a Hot air balloon over Luxor, a once in a lifetime experience. Dinner & overnight on board
