Day 1: Cairo - Bahariyya Oasis
Today is the start of your Egyptian holiday. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel, after a freshen up enjoy a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum before driving to Bahariyya, where you can watch a beautiful sunset over the rugged desertscape.
Day 2: Bahariyya Oasis
Visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, Tombs of the Nobles and the Black Desert en route to the striking White Desert, which is your remote overnight base.
Day 3: Bahariyya Oasis - Dakhla Oasis
This morning travel to Dakhla, stopping en route to visit Farafra - the smallest oasis in the Western Desert, the medieval city of Al Qasr and Deir al-Haggar Roman Temple. You can also opt for a dip in the hot springs.
Day 4: Dakhla Oasis - Luxor
This morning journey to Kharga Oasis to see the Temple of Hibis and the rambling 4th century mud-brick necropolis of el-Bagawat before travelling to Luxor.
Day 5: Luxor - Nile Cruising
Today take a tour of Luxor 's West Bank visiting the legendary Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The Valley of the Kings was constructed to house the regal sarcophagi enclosed mummies of the mighty pharaohs, awaiting their passage into the after-life. Return to Luxor and check in onboard a deluxe Nile Cruiser before visiting the beautifully illuminated Luxor Temple at night.
Day 6: Nile Cruising
Relax onboard as the cruiser sets sail to Aswan, stopping to visit Esna, the Temple of Horus at Edfu - a huge complex that began construction in 237 BC!
Day 7: Nile Cruising
Another relaxing day cruising the Nile watch the world go by with a cocktail or beer in hand wile the wave lap up againist the side of the cruiser stopping off at the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god - Sobek.
Day 8: Nile Cruising
Welcome to Aswan, it's time to explore the mighty Aswan High Dam and travel by boat to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Remainder of day and evening free
Day 9: Nile Cruising - Cairo
Enjoy a day at leisure in Aswan or take an optional air excursion to the colossal temple of Abu Simbel. Late afternoon board an overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.
Day 10: Cairo
Today marks the end of your unforgettable adventure in Egypt. Morning arrival into Cairo and onward transfer to the airport where we eave you goodbye.
