Day 1: Luxor
Today you arrive in Luxor! - Welcome to Egypt! You will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel for check in. The rest of the afternoon is your free to get accustomed to your new surroundings!
Day 2: Luxor - Dahab
This morning we have an early start- and what better way to start the day than hot air ballooning over Luxor! Imagine drifting silently over temples, ancient sites, ruins and villages in the early morning sun. You will see ancient Thebes from a different angle as you float above the River Nile and wave down at the locals as you drift a few metres from their open rooftops! We follow this by a Full day of sight seeing to both the West and East Bank of Luxor. We take in the sights of the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple and Colossi of Memnon, and the Karnak and Luxor Temples. After a huge day we transfer to the airport to Catch your flight to Sharm el Sheikh where you will be transferred to Dahab for hotel check in and a good nights sleep!
Days 3-4: Dahab
Today and tomorrow you have free time in Dahab to relax and enjoy the sun. Two beginner dives per day are also included or opt for one of the many other water activities on offer.
Day 5: Dahab - Cairo
Today we say goodbye to Dahab and are transferred to the airport for a flight to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo you will be transferred to your hotel where you will have free time.
Day 6: Cairo
Visit to the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Later, we visit the famous Egyptian Museum, famed for the treasures of King Tutankhamen and his famous solid gold funerary mask. This afternoon is free - perhaps spend the remainder of the day exploring Cairo your way
Day 7: Cairo
After breakfast this morning we check out of our hotel and say our final goodbyes. Our arrangements end with a departure transfer to the airport.
