Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo

Founded by Alexander the Great, Alexandria boasts wonderful beaches and an impressive seafront corniche, along which are dotted cafes and restaurants, as well as catacombs, souks and relics from a bygone age. Whilst in Alexandria, take a guided tour of the Roman catacombs - the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt, which were discovered accidentally in 1900 when a donkey disappeared through the ground. Also visit Pompeii’s Pillar and drive past the impressive Library of Alexandria, to the gates of the great Montazzah Palace, home to King Farouk. Overnight Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo - Aswan

Visit to the famous pyramids and huge Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara, we can explore the myriad tombs and temples at this site and see Zhoser’s step pyramid - constructed by Imhotep, the pharaoh’s chief architect in 2700 BC! Day 4: Aswan - Nile Cruising

A visit out of town takes us to the mighty High Dam – a modern feat of engineering - creating the world’s largest artificial lake, Lake Nasser! This afternoon's highlight is a leisurely boat trip to Agilika Island for Philae Temple for a guided tour of the romantic Philae Temple - dedicated to the goddess Isis. As the sun sets, free time to shop in the colourful souqs and markets or simply relax and watch an amazing sunset in Egypt's southern most town straddling the River Nile. Overnight – Nile Cruiser

Day 5: Nile Cruising

Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God.

Day 6: Nile Cruising

Continuing on toward Luxor stopping at Edfu Temple, it was known in Greco-Roman times as Apollonopolis Magna, after the chief god Horus-Apollo. Later we continue to Luxor.

Day 7: Nile Cruising - Luxor

After breakast disembark the cruise. Today you will see the west bank and the Valley of Kings where you will visit Hatshepsut temple and Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon you will enjoy a tour of Luxor and also the Temples at Karnak. Returning to your hotel this evening. Overnight Luxor

Days 8-10: Luxor - Dahab

This Morning you will fly to the Red Sea to the City of Dehab, where you will enjoy the next couple of days at your leisure. Overnight Dehab.

Day 11: Dahab - Cairo

Unfortunately time for rexaling is over as you are transferred back to the airport in time for your flight back to Cario. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Cario.

Day 12: Cairo

Saldy you time in Egypt has come to an end as you are transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight to your onward destination.
