Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. Our representative will meet you at Cairo airport and assist with the transfer to your hotel.

Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Day 3: Cairo - Luxor

Today you will enjoy a guided excursion to the citadel and then on to see the dazzling antiquities of ancient Egypt at the Egypt Museum. This evening after a rest we will transfer you to the train station for an overnight train to Luxor. Overnight - Marriott Omar Khayyam

Day 4: Luxor

Upon arrival, we will meet you off the train and transfer you to your hotel. You will have time to rest and freshen up before our visit this afternoon to the Valley of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Overnight - Sleeper Train

Day 5: Luxor - Dahab

This morning we visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. Later today we transfer to the airport for your flight via Cairo to Sharm el Sheikh. We then transfer you to the Red Sea Resort of Dahab. Overnight - Sonesta Hotel
