Pyramid at Giza

Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo

Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara for more sights.

Day 3: Cairo - Aswan

This morning you will fly via Aswan to Abu Simbel for a sightseeing trip to remember!! Enjoy a guided tour before you have free time to explore what should have been one of the seven wonders of the world. Afterwards you fly back Aswan and enjoy a visit to the gigantic high Dam; the unfinished Obelisk and Philae temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. After hotel check in enjoy a visit to the Nubien Museum.

Day 4: Aswan - Dahabeya cruise

This morning we visit the Monastery St. Simon & Tomb of Nobles then we take a motor boat on the Nile to visit the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener's Island. We then board the 5 star Dahabiya for lunch then set sail to the Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the Crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God.

Day 5: Dahabeya cruise

Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to Edfu one of Egypt's best preserved temples.

Free day on board to relax as the Dahabiya cruises along the Nile.

Day 7: Dahabeya cruise - Luxor

After disembarking early at Esna, we cross to the West Bank for a full days sightseeing. You are greeted by the massive Colossi of Memnon. We’ll then explore the Valleys of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Madinet Habu and the Valley of Nobles.

Day 8: Luxor

Its a treat this morning as we will take you sightseeing to the rarely visited Temples of Dendera. We also visit the Abydos with your guide. Upon return to Luxor, you'll have some time late in the afternoon to relax and enjoy your hotel facilities.

Day 9: Luxor

Today we visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. We continue on to visit the Luxor Museum and Mummification Museum where you will learn about the process of mummification.

Day 10: Luxor

After breakfast, we will transfer you to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo to connect with your flight home.
