Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau which are the sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World. Next we stop for a barbeque lunch before moving on to see the necropolis of Saqqara where the famous Step Pyramid is located.

Day 3: Cairo - Aswan

This morning check out and your guide takes you for a half day of the famous Egypt Museum main entry is included however inside there are certain areas you need to pay extra to view and the guide is not permitted entry to these rooms. After a transfer to the airport for you late afternoon flight to Aswan. Arrival and our local rep will escort you to your hotel.

Day 4: Aswan

This morning we transfer to a jetty where you go by speedboat to visit the Philae Temple which is dedicated to the goddess Isis. Returning to Aswan you will go to see the High Dam then enjoy sailing on traditional boat called a felucca making stops to see the interesting lives the islanders lead. After return to your hotel.

Day 5: Aswan - Luxor

Early morning flight to Abu Simbel on arrival you will enjoy a one hour tour of the site and one hour free to wander around before your transfer back to the airport for your flight to Aswan (TOTAL TIME FROM TAKEOFF 4 HOURS) Return to Aswan you will drive to Luxor stopping en route to visit the waterside temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu. Arrive Luxor by evening and check into your hotel for dinner.

Day 6: Luxor

Spend the morning exploring magnificent Temple complex of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. A little down time this afternoon before your evening we visit the beautifully illuminated Luxor temple where you can enjoy a guided explanation of the site and some free time to explore.

Day 7: Luxor

This morning an early rise you will drive to Dendera and Abydos visiting the lesser touristed sites including the Temple of Hathor and Temple of Seti I when complete you will drive back to Luxor arriving in the evening (FULL DAY 7am to 7PM)

Day 8: Luxor - El Gouna

Check out of hotel and enjoy a half day touring starting early around 8 am highlights you will see are the Colossi of Memnon, the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. When ready enjoy a break for a 12 noon - 1 pm lunch and then drive to El Gouna a wonderful all inclusive resort area on the Red Sea.

Days 9-14: El Gouna

Enjoy your time in the El Gouna soaking up the sun, dipping in the warm waters of the Red Sea you can opt to go snorkelling or diving or just lay back on your sunlounger on the hotels private beach sipping cocktails.
