Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. We will pick up Mr Bradford Brinton from the later flight.

Day 2: Cairo

Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! We continue to Saqqara for more sightseeing.

Day 3: Cairo

After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum for a guided tour and free time to explore the treasures of King Tutankhamen. We then enjoy an in-depth tour of the Citadel and Khan El Khalili.

Day 4: Cairo - Aswan

Early this morning we take you on an air excursion to the famous Abu Simbel - the rock-cut temple of King Ramses II, the Great Builder. Flying to Aswan, later enjoy free time to perhaps do some shopping in the colourful souks and markets or simply relax in this attractive town which straddles the River Nile.

Day 5: Aswan - Nile Cruising

This morning a visit out of town takes us to the mighty High Dam – a modern feat of engineering, the by–product of which is Lake Nasser, the world’s largest artificial lake. Continuing, we enjoy a short boat trip to Agilika Island for the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. On your return we check into your 5 star Nile cruise boat.

Day 6: Nile Cruising

Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. Later in the afternoon visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu.

Day 7: Nile Cruising

Sailing to Esna this morning we pass the lock and continue to Luxor, a living museum filled with ancient history. This afternoon we visit the East Bank and when dusk draws near we will take you sightseeing to the Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night.

Day 8: Nile Cruising - El Gouna

Early this morning before we visit the West Bank including the Valleys of the Kings & Queens and the Temple of Hatshepsut. The massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we’ll see as we arrive on the West Bank for our day's sightseeing. Later this afternoon we will transfer you to your hotel in El Gouna.

Days 9-11: El Gouna

Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magical blue of the Red Sea. Sit back and relax for the next three days by the pool sipping coctaiks and soaking up the sun. Here you opt to go snorkelling or diving to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs.

Day 12: El Gouna - Cairo

After breakfast and hotel check out we transfer you to the airport in Hurghada for your flight back to Cairo. On arrival we will transfer you to your hotel in Cairo where the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.

Day 13: Cairo

Today marks the end of your adventure with On the Go Tours and we will transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
