Day 1: Cairo
Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Day 2: Cairo
Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara for more sights.
Day 3: Cairo
Today pay a visit to the Egyptian Museum and the Citadel which is the old islamic part of Cairo. Afterwards free time to enjoy Cairo at your own pace.
Day 4: Cairo - Luxor
Transfer from your hotel in Cairo to Cairo Airport to board your flight to Luxor. Transfer from Luxor airport to your hotel in Luxor. Later on we explore the fascinating Karnak temple: the largest temple in Egypt, by an avenue of sphinxes.
Day 5: Luxor
Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our half day sightseeing. These are all that remain of the temple of Amenophis III. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Days 7-10: El Gouna
Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magiacal blue of the Red Sea. For next 5 days sit back and relax by the pool sipping coctaiks and soaking up the sun. Here you opt to go snorkelling or diving to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs.
