Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara for more sights.
Today we venture into the bustling heart of Cairo to visit the world-famous Egyptian Museum. This afternoon we visit the Saladin Citadel of Cairo, the Mohammed Ali Mosque and the lively Khan El Khalili bazaar.
Early this morning you will fly to Abu Simbel for a sightseeing trip to remember! You will have free time to explore what should have been one of the seven wonders of the world. Afterwards we will fly you to Aswan and check you into the hotel.
Welcome to Aswan when you arrive at the station we will be there to meet you and transfer you to your hotel, after a short rest we will take you sightseeing to the Aswan high dam and the Temple of Philae. Afterwards enjoy a trip on a traditional sailing boat called a felucca to visit the nearby islands of Kitchener and Elephantine. We will then check you onto the cruise boat.
Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God.
Continuing on toward Luxor stopping at Edfu en route for guided sightseeing later this afternoon you will arrive in to Luxor and when dusk draws near we will take you sightseeing to the Luxor Temple, which is beautifully illuminated at night. Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our half day sightseeing. These are all that remain of the temple of Amenophis III. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This afternoon we depart destined for the Red Sea resort town of El Gouna.
Welcome to El Gouna on the Red Sea enjoy yourself relax sit back and enjoy the sand and sun or maybe do some diving and snorkelling.
Today we fly back to Cairo and you will enjoy a guided excursion to the citadel, Khan el Khalili markets and then on to see the dazzling antiquities of ancient Egypt at the Egypt Museum.
