Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Today, we enjoy a guided tour of the Lion Headed Sphinx and Pyramids at Giza. If you know the location the guide will be happy to take you to village with horse stables nearby. We then transfer to visit the necropolis of Saqqara which is considered Egypt's most enduring legacy. Evening at leisure.
After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, here you can enjoy a guided tour and free time to browse. We then enjoy an in-depth tour of Old Cairo, visit the old Coptic suspended Church and city of the dead, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, drive to the Citadel of Saladin, and visit the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and then Khan El Khalili markets.
Early rise this morning for the short flight down south to explore the temples of Abu Simbel , created to revere the mighty pharaonic ruler King Ramses II. Enjoy a guided tour and free time to explore before we fly to Aswan arriving there around 12 noon. This afternoon enjoy a walking tour of the Nubian souqs and corniche of Aswan.
After breakfast we head out to explore the Aswan High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae temple. We then check around 12 noon to your Nile cruiser. This afternoon enjoy sailing on a felucca to nearby islands on the river Nile. Evening dinner and entertainment on board.
Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. Evening dinner and entertainment on board.
This morning a visit to Edfu one of Egypt's best preserved temples then after passing through the Esna Lock we will reach Luxor - Egypt's open air museum. When dusk draws near this evening enjoy an excursion of the beautiful Luxor Temple illuminated at night time it's ripe with photo opportunities.
This morning we check out and transfer to your hotel. Following this we enjoy sightseeing to the West Bank including the Valleys of Kings and Queens, Temple of Queen Hateshepsut, Colossi of Memnon and Medinet Habu. Evening at leisure.
Early this morning we have a long drive out to the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, which is one of the latest Egyptian temples. It was built in Roman times and its decorations include Roman emperors alongside Egyptian gods. Then we drive to Abydos which for ancient Egypt was one of the holiest sites in the world. It was the cult center of the god Osiris and gateway to the underworld. You will be back in Luxor by 7 pm.
This morning we depart Luxor and drive to El Quesir. Arriving there we assist with your hotel check in. remainder of the day at leisure to explore.
Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out of your window at the beautiful blue of the Red Sea waters. Sit back and relax by the pool sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. Enjoy your time here maybe opt to go snorkelling or diving, to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs.
This morning we transfer you to Hurghada airport in time for your flight to Cairo. Arrive Cairo we assist with your transfer to the hotel. Remainder fo the day at your leisure.
