Day 1: Cairo
Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. (International flights not included).
Day 2: Cairo
Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Enjoy a camel ride at the Pyramids. We then continue to Saqqara for more sightseeing.
Day 3: Cairo - Aswan
Early this morning transfer to the Airport for your flight to Abu Simbel to visit the amazing rock-cut temple of King Ramses II, the Great Builder. We fly back to Aswan and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free and at your leisure.
Day 4: Aswan - Nile Cruising
This morning after breakfast we check into the 5 star Nile cruiser. After some free time we will take you to the mighty High Dam – a modern feat of engineering, the by–product for which is Lake Nasser, the world’s largest artificial lake! Continuing, we enjoy a short boat trip to Agilika Island for the Philae Temple.
Day 5: Nile Cruising
In the early morning, your ship will sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the unusual double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the god Haroeris. Lunch on board. Admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile while sailing to Edfu where you will discover the huge temple dedicated to the God Horus by horse carriage and tour it with your guide. Visit the colorful local bazaars on your way where you can buy your souvenirs.
Day 6: Nile Cruising
Today we visit the West Bank of Luxor: explore the great valleys of the Kings and Queens where generations of Pharaohs and Nobles were buried in crypts cut into the cliffs and guarded by the two huge Colossi of Memnon. You will then visit the temple of Queen Hatchepsut. Back to the ship for lunch. Enjoy a visit to the East Bank of Luxor: walk among the pillars of the temple dedicated to the god Amun Ra and along the avenue of the Sphinxes at Karnak and Luxor temples.
Day 7: Nile Cruising - El Quseir
Optional hot air balloon ride. Later this morning we check out of the Nile cruiser and transfer you to El Quseir. Arrive El Quseir and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free and at your leisure.
Day 8: El Quseir
Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magical blue of the Red Sea. Sit back and relax by the pool sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. Here you can opt to go snorkeling or diving, to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs.
Day 14: El Quseir - Cairo
Today we will transfer you to Hurghada airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrive Cairo and transfer to your hotel. Later today enjoy a guided visit to the famous Egyptian Museum to explore the treasures of King Tutankhamen. We then enjoy a visit to Cairo's famous Khan el khalili market.
Day 15: Cairo
Today we will transfer you to the international Airport in Cairo in time to connect with your flight back home.
