Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. (International flights not included).
Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! We continue to Saqqara for more sightseeing.
After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum for a guided tour and free time to explore the treasures of King Tutankhamen. We then enjoy an in-depth tour of Old Cairo, visiting the old Coptic suspended Church and city of the dead, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, Citadel of Saladin and the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and more.
Early this morning we take you on an air excursion to the famous Abu Simbel, the rock-cut temple of King Ramses II, the Great Builder. Later, free time to perhaps do some shopping in the colourful souks and markets or simply relax in this attractive town which straddles the River Nile.
This morning a visit out of town takes us to the mighty High Dam – a modern feat of engineering, the by–product for which is Lake Nasser, the world’s largest artificial lake! Continuing, we enjoy a short boat trip to Agilika Island for the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. On your return we check you onto the felucca boat.
Sailing down the Nile kick back feet dipped in the water sipping a cold beer soaking up the sun and swimming in the cool waters. Today the boat will stop for a visit to Kom Ombo
This morning a visit to Edfu one of Egypt's best preserved temples then after passing through the Esna Lock we will reach Luxor - Egypt's open air museum. Taking a tour of the East Bank of the Nile we will visit The Luxor Temple and the complex of temples at Karnak. Added to by succeeding Pharaohs this is a sprawling insight into the centre of power of ancient Egypt.
Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our half day sightseeing. These are all that remain of the temple of Amenophis III. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This afternoon will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Sharm el Shiekh. On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel in Dahab.
This morning will start with an early wake up call for your trek up Mt Sinai. Brace yourself for the spectacular views of the Sinai Desert at the spot where it is said Moses received the 10 commandments. Descending 3 hrs on foot, you arrive at St Catherine's Monastery and after a guided tour and free time to explore we will drive you back to Dahab.
Enjoy your time in the Dahab soaking up the sun, dipping in the warm waters of the Red Sea you can opt to go snorkelling or diving.
This afternoon we transfer you to the airport for the flight to Cairo. On arrival we will check you into the hotel.
Today we will transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
