Arrival to Cairo, North Africa’s largest city. Included transfer to your hotel and leisurely afternoon to enjoy your hotel facilities
Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau which are the sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World. Next we stop for a barbeque lunch before moving on to see the necropolis of Saqqara where the famous Step Pyramid is located.
After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, here you can enjoy a guided tour and free time to browse and explore the famed treasures of King Tutankhamen. We then enjoy an in-depth tour of Old Cairo, visit the old Coptic suspended Church and city of the dead, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, drive to the Citadel of Saladin, and visit the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and more.
A short early morning flight down south to explore the temples of Abu Simbel , created to revere the mighty pharaonic ruler King Ramses II. After around 2 hours tour we fly you to Aswan. Later afternoon free time to perhaps do some shopping in the colourful souqs and markets or simply relax in this attractive town which straddles the River Nile.
A visit out of town takes us to the mighty High Dam. Continuing, we enjoy a short boat trip to Agilika Island and Philae Temple. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple was rescued in an enormous UNESCO effort in the 1970s. This afternoon we board our luxury Nile cruiser for lunch on board. Afternoon enjoy sailing on a felucca boat to see nearby islands. Dinner & Entertainment on board docked in Aswan.
Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. Lunch, Dinner & Entertainment on board docked in Kom Ombo or Edfu.
This morning a visit to Edfu one of Egypt's best preserved temples then after passing through the Esna Lock we will reach Luxor - Egypt's open air museum. When dusk draws near this evening enjoy an excursion of the beautiful Luxor Temple illuminated at night time it's ripe with photo opportunities. Lunch, Dinner & Entertainment on board docked in Luxor.
After breakfast and check out we enjoy our touring of the Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi Of Memnon, valley of kings and lastly valley of queens. Time for lunch before our later afternoon drive to Hurghada. Arrival and check into your hotel.
This morning we fly back to Cairo. The afternoon allows free time; relax by the pool or consider some last minute souvenir shopping at Khan el Khalili bazaar.
