Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo

Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! While here enjoy a short camel ride before we continue by car to Saqqara for more sightseeing.

Day 3: Cairo

After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum for a guided tour and free time to explore the treasures of King Tutankhamen. We then enjoy an in-depth tour of Old Cairo, visiting the old Coptic suspended Church and city of the dead, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, Citadel of Saladin and the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and more.

Day 4: Cairo - Aswan

Early this morning we take you on an air excursion to the famous Abu Simbel, the rock-cut temple of King Ramses II, the Great Builder. Later, free time to perhaps do some shopping in the colourful souks and markets or simply relax in this attractive town which straddles the River Nile.

Day 5: Aswan - Nile Cruising

This morning a visit out of town takes us to the mighty High Dam – a modern feat of engineering, the by–product for which is Lake Nasser, the world’s largest artificial lake! Continuing, we enjoy a short boat trip to Agilika Island for the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. On your return we check into your 5 star Nile cruise boat - M/S Sabena.

Day 6: Nile Cruising

Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God.

Day 7: Nile Cruising

This morning we visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Later this afternoon you will arrive in to Luxor and when dusk draws near we will take you by horsecarriage sightseeing to the Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night.

Day 8: Nile Cruising - Hurghada

Upon returning from independent activities back to the cruise ship meet our guide and start the tour of the Valleys of the Kings & Queens and Temple of Hatshepsut. The massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we’ll see as we arrive on the West Bank for our day's sightseeing. We will also visit Karnak temple. This afternoon we will transfer you to Hurghada and check you into your hotel.

Days 9-11: Hurghada

Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magical blue of the Red Sea. Sit back and relax by the pool sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. The next few days are free to relax or explore independently. Here you can opt to go snorkeling or diving, to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs (all optionals payable locally)

Day 12: Hurghada - Cairo

Today we will transfer you to Hurghada airport. Upon arrival in Cairo we will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for the evening.

Day 13: Cairo

Today we will transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
