Day 1: Luxor
Welcome to Egypt and the start of your family adventure with On the Go Tours. On arrival into Cairo airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Cairo where the remainder of the day is free for you to relax after your flight.
Day 2: Luxor
Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our half day sightseeing. These are all that remain of the temple of Amenophis III. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Later in the evening visit the Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night.
Day 3: Luxor - Aswan
After breakfast we tour Luxor's East Bank and visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. Later transfer by road to the Nubian city of Aswan.
Day 4: Aswan - Luxor
Early this morning you will fly to Abu Simbel for a sightseeing trip to remember. You will be guided for around 2 hrs then free to explore what should have been one of the seven wonders of the world. On completion of touring we will then transfer you to back to Luxor.
Day 5: Luxor - Hurghada
After breakfast and hotel check out transfer by road to the Red Sea resort of Hurghada. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day making the most of your hotel's facilities.
Days 6-8: Hurghada
The next three days offer plenty of time to relax in the sun, sea and sand of Hurghada. There are also many activities on offer including snorkelling and more adventurous water sports.
Day 9: Hurghada
Today marks the end of your Egyptian adventure with On the Go Tours. After breakfast and hotel check out we will transfer you to the airport in Hurghada for your onward departure flight.
