Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt's capital and Africa's largest city: Cairo. Upon arrival you will be met and guided through passport control and baggage collection. After essential airport formalities you will be transferred directly to your hotel for your time in Cairo. Upon reaching the hotel we will assist with your check-in and then the evening is yours to relax and freshen up.

Day 2: Cairo

After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, here you can enjoy a guided tour and free time to browse and explore the famed treasures of King Tutankhamen. We then enjoy an in-depth tour of Old Cairo, visit the old Coptic suspended Church and city of the dead, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, drive to the Citadel of Saladin, and visit the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and more.

Day 3: Cairo

Today we visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Continuing to Saqqara, we can explore the myriad tombs and temples at this site.

Day 4: Cairo - Bahariyya Oasis

Enjoy a free morning at lesiure to explore, shop or just relax, later we drive by minibus to Bahariyya Oasis. Dinner is at the hotel the remainder of your time here today is free time.

Day 5: Bahariyya Oasis - White Desert

We check out Bahariyya - an ancient oasis dating back to the Middle Kingdom with visits to two local tombs and the famed Museum of the Goldern Mummies. Continuing by 4x4, we explore crystal mountain and the Black Desert, a region full of black volcano-shaped mountains, covered in a layer of star shaped pebbles. Our desert camp tonight is in the White Desert, so named as the sand eerily resembles snow.

Day 6: White Desert - Dakhla Oasis

Continuing by 4x4, we drive to Farafra, the smallest oasis in the Western Desert and famed for it’s exotic fruit and olive oil. Here, we can enjoy a dip in one of the natural springs. Continuing from here by minibus our next stop is Dakhla, a picturesque oasis full of mud-brick villages that sit upon lush fields and orchards. Here, we enjoy a visit to the medivel covered city of Al Qasr and Al Muzawaka Tombs and Deir al-Haggar. Dinner tonight is at our hotel.

Day 7: Dakhla Oasis - Kharga Oasis

Departing Dakhla, we journey to Kharga Oasis. In Kharga we visit the Temple of Hibis, the rambling 4th century necropolis of al-Bagawat built entirely of mudbrick and the temple ruins of Deir al-Kashef. This afternoon enjoy free time.

Day 8: Kharga Oasis - Luxor

Setting off early, we drive you to Luxor after check-in to your hotel we enjoy a visit to the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it is a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons, dedicated to the Theban gods. This evening we will visit the softly illuminated Luxor temple arriving by horse and carriage.

Day 9: Luxor - Sharm el Sheikh

Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we’ll see as we arrive on the West Bank for our day's sightseeing. These are all that remain of the temple of Amenophis III. Today, we visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This evening we fly to Sharm El Sheikh for some relaxing day ahead on the Red Sea.

Days 10-13: Sharm el Sheikh

Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magical blue of the Red Sea. Sit back and relax by the pool sipping coctails and soaking up the sun. Here you opt to go snorkeling or diving to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs for your remaining days in Egypt.

Day 14: Sharm el Sheikh - Petra

This morning we will drive you to the ferry port of Taba for your crossing to Aqaba. Welcome to Jordan and the start of your holiday in this wonderful country, we will meet you at the port and transfer you to your hotel at Petra for the night.

Day 15: Petra

Welcome to the Rose City! Access to Petra on our guided tour is through the famous narrow, deep siq. The rocks then give way to the most amazing site – that of the fantastically impressive Treasury. Walking down the gravel tracks, we will explore the ancient Nabatean tombs and the Roman rock carved streets lined with temples, staircases, arched gates, public buildings and more.

Day 16: Petra - Wadi Rum

This morning you have the option to revisit Petra a second time before we drive you to Wadi Rum. Wadi Rum is a vast, silent landscape of ancient riverbeds, pastel coloured stretches of sandy desert and amazing eroded rock formations that rise from the desert floo. The region is also home to semi-nomadic Bedouin living in their great goat hair tents tonight, enjoy a taste of there cuisine at your camp.

Day 17: Wadi Rum - Dead Sea

This morning we board 4 x 4's, so we can get up close and personal to the surrounding scenery of Wadi Rum. We later drive 3 hrs to the Dead Sea, only 1 hr from the airport and lots of optional treatments on offer at the spa enjoy!

Day 18: Dead Sea

Today we bid you farewell and transfer you to the international airport in Amman for your flight home.
