Our trusty staff are waiting at the airport anticipating your arrival so once you have passed through customs you will find them waiting in the arrivals hall to transfer you to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day or take advantage of the excellent facilities.
This morning after an early breakfast be ready to head out with your guide by 9 am to visit the amazing sights of Cairo highlights today will include the Lion Headed Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza with time to go in the solar boat museum and have a camel ride. This is followed by a visit to Zhosers step Pyramid at Saqqara time for lunch nearby before your visit to the Red and Bent Pryamids at Dashur. Tonight the sund and light show tickets and transfers are included.
This morning back to the airport for your 11:45 am flight to Luxor. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Later in the early evening a guided visit the beautifully illuminated Luxor temple where you can enjoy a guided explanation of the site and some free time to explore this is concluded with you watching the sound and light show.
Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our day of touring. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Return to your hotel around 3pm for some time to relax at your hotel.
After breakfast we visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. When ready enjoy a guided tour of the Luxor Museum. Finishing up around 4 pm with a transfer back to your hotel.
This morning your driver and guide will collect you for the drive to Aswan. Along the way a series of stops will be made to visit the The Temple of Khnum at Esna, Temple of Horus at Edfu and Kom Ombo temple which is dedicated to three gods. We continue to Aswan and check in to your hotel. This evening your Aswan will take you for a walk in the lively markets that spring to life in the cool evening air.
This morning enjoy a tour of the Aswan High and Low dams and Temple of Philae. In the afternoon enjoy sailing in a traditional felucca sailing boat to visit nearby islands such as Elephantine, Botanic Gardens and the Nilometer. Evening at leisure.
Morning 09:15 am flight to Abu Simbel. Arrival and we assist with embarkation to your cruise in time for lunch on board. Later afternoon guided tour of the amazing temples. Enjoy a spectacular sound and light show at Abu Simbel before dinner by candle light on board.
Breakfast on board - Free time to revisit the temples of Abu Simbel. This afternoon we set sail on Lake Nasser, to view Kasr Ibrim. This tour is conducted from the ship’s sundeck as entrance to the site is not permitted. Relax and enjoy the facilities onboard the cruiser.
Discover the Temple of Amada (Lake Nasser’s oldest monument) and Derr, dedicated by Ramses II. We’ll stop at the Tomb of Penout (Viceroy of Nubia), Wadi El Seboua, the Temple of Dakka and the Temple of Meharakka.
Sip cocktails as we cross the Tropic of Cancer, bound for the Nubian city of Aswan, visiting Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi en-route.
Welcome back to Aswan! After breakfast we disembark and return to Cairo by flight. Arrival transfer to your hotel. Early evening return transfers are arranged for you to the Khan El Khalili Markets for some shopping.
For today and tommorow enjoy an extended city tour that includes the Egyptian Museum, Mosque of al Azhar, Wikala of al Ghouri, al Ghouri Complex, Beit as Suhaymi, Bein al Qasreen, Northern Cemetery, Citadel (including Mosque of Mehammed Ali and Mosque of Suleiman Pasha), Mosque of Sultan Hassan, Al Azhar Park, Mosque of Ibn Tulun, Hanging Church, Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus and Coptic Museum.
