Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Setting off today for Alexandria, we will stop off at Tanis, capital of the 21st and 22nd dynasties during Egypt's Third Intermediate period. We also visit Bubastis, an ancient city whose god was the cat-headed Bastet, whose festival was among the most revelrous in Egypt. Our final stop beafore reaching Alexandria is Taposiris Magna, a temple built in the Ptolemy era and dedicated to Osiris. Also found in the same area are remains of public baths built by the emperor Justinian, a seawall, quays and a bridge. We will then check you into the hotel in Alexandria.
We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Luxor and on arrival we will transfer you to the hotel.
This morning there is the option of rising at dawn to take a hot air balloon flight over Luxor before starting your days touring. Today explore Luxor’s West Bank and the atmospheric Valley of the Kings. Also visit the Valley of the Queens and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, passing the imposing Colossi of Memnon en route. We will transfer you to the Dahabeya. Get ready to relax and experience travel from a different era as you gently cruise along the Nile. In the afternoon sail in direction of El Hagz Islan
Morning Sailing gently l en-route to Edfu; enjoy breakfast at your leisure, visit Edfu Temple by horse carriage, one of the largest and most intact of Egypt's monuments. Two beautiful granite statues of the Falcon God Horus flank the entrance. After your visit to the temple, either ride or walk through the bazaar, this is an extensive bazaar where you can barter for souvenirs, spices and perfumes. We will then set sail for our private island "El Fouza" where we will disembark for dinner served to you on the edge of the Nile.
We set off for the relaxing journey to the temple of Gebel el Silsila, another of our less frequented destinations. You will be amazed as we tie up alongside the Speos of Hormheb. If possible dinner will be served in the grounds of the illuminated temple or on the upper deck of Boat whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere with music to match the mood.
Breakfast at your leisure as we sail on to Kom Ombo. Listen to the sounds of the water buffalo as they wade in the shallow water besides the banks of the Nile, the Donkeys as they go about their day to day business and the various bird life of the river. Here we visit to the Greco Roman Temple at Kom Ombo. The temple building is totally symmetrical with two entrance's two halls and two sanctuaries dedicated to the Falcon God Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and the Crocodile God Sobek. Lunch will be served as we head for a small island where we will moor for the evening and enjoy dinner at this atmospheric location.
Enjoy the privilege and luxury of days gone by as we sail to Aswan, the gateway to Nubia and the Sudan. We should arrive around 10am, giving you plenty of time to visit some of the highlights such as the Temple of Philae and the Souk, and unfinished Obelisk You will have lots of time to prepare for our EGYPTIAN EVENING OF FUN, with Egyptian cuisine, Arabic Music. Transfer from your Dahabeya to Aswan Airport to board your flight to Abu Simbel. Transfer from Abu Simbel Airport to your Lake Nasser Nile Cruise. Visit Abu Simbel Temple. Sound & light show – Abu Simbel Dinner & overnight on board cruise.
Today visit the temple of Amada of the XVIIIth dynasty, built during the reign of Thohotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thohotmosis IV, We'll also see the hemi-spocs of Derr, dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun, and the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia. After a relaxing afternoon onboard, we enjoy a visit to Wadi El Seboua. The temple of Wadi El Seboua was dedicated by Ramses II, to the two Gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis, The temple of Dakka, is dedicated to the God Thot of divine wisdom. Finally we see the Greco Roman temple of Maharakka.

Sip cocktails crossing the Tropic of Cancer, as we approach Aswan. Today we visit Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi en-route. Disembark your Lake Nassar cruise and we will transfer you to the airport in Aswan in time for your departure flight.
