Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Cairo and the start of your holiday. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo - Aswan

Cairo - Aswan. A big day out at the pyramids and sphinx at Giza, then a visit to the ancient tomb-strewn necropolis at Saqqara. Overnight seater train to Aswan. Upgrades to sleeper cabin available. Overnight - Onboard Sleeper Train.

Day 3: Aswan

Aswan. After arrival and check in in Aswan we head off to the grand High Dam - an impressive feat of engineering which resulted in the creation of Lake Nasser. Next we enjoy a boat trip to Agilika Island where we visit the Temples of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Spend the remainder of the evening at your own leisure; shop in the colourful souqs or simply kick back and relax. Overnight - Aswan

Day 4: Aswan - Nile Cruising

This morning you fly to Abu simbel for a sightseeing trip to remember!! You will be guided for around 2 hrs then free to take what should have been one of the seven wonders of the world. Afterward fly on to Aswan. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Nile Cruiser

Day 5: Nile Cruising

Enjoy a sleep in today. After lunch you set sail along the Nile. Today you will sail to Kom Ombo here you will visit the Temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Afterwards you continue to Edfu. Where you will dock and spend the night. Overnight Nile Cruiser

Day 6: Nile Cruising

After breakfast enjoy a tour of Edfu Temple which is dedicated to the falcon god Horus, was built in the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BCE. This evening you will continue sailing stopping at Luxor. Overnight Nile Cruiser.

Day 7: Nile Cruising - Luxor

This morning after breakfast we disembark our boat and enjoy a visit to the West Bank - the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Afterwards you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor. Then continue touring as you visit the East bank with Karnak and Luxor Temples. Overnight Luxor

Day 8: Luxor

Today is your free to continue exploring Luxor your way as you spend it at your leisure. Overnight Luxor.

Valley of the Kings

Days 9-12: Luxor - Hurghada

Leaving the ancient city of Luxor you are transferred by road to Hurghada by the Red Sea for some rest and relaxation. Enjoy the next couple of days at your leisure soaking up the sun. Overnight Hurghada

Day 13: Hurghada - Cairo

Leaving the beach behind you will be transferred by road back to the Capital for your last night in Egypt. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Cairo.

Day 14: Cairo - Wadi Rum

Today you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Jordan. Upon arrival into Amman we transfer to our vehicle that takes us to Wadi Rum. Wadi Rum - a vast, silent landscape of pastel coloured sketches of sandy desert punctuated by amazing rock formations known as jebels. Here we'll undertake a 4x4 desert safari, before tucking into a Bedouin dinner at our desert camp. Bed tonight is under a galaxy of stars or in tents. Overnight - Wadi Rum

Day 15: Wadi Rum - Petra

Wadi Rum - Petra. After breakfast at our desert camp we travel on to Petra through the breathtaking 'secret road' of Al Madras. Tonight, it may be possible to take a candlelit walk through the Siq by taking the atmospheric 'Petra by Night' excursion (bookable locally) Overnight - Petra

Day 16: Petra

Welcome to the Rose City! Access to the city on our guided exploration is through the famous narrow, deep siq. The rocks then give way to the most amazing site – that of the fantastically impressive Treasury. Walking down the gravel tracks, we’ll explore the ancient Nabatean tombs and the Roman rock-carved streets lined with temples, royal tombs, staircases, arched gates and public buildings. There is also a gigantic amphitheatre originally built to house 3000 spectators, though the Romans increased capacity to a whopping 7000. After the guided tour, you’re free to head off and further explore, haggle for a horse and chariot or just relax and take it all in. Overnight Petra

Day 17: Petra - Madaba

Petra - Mt Nebo -Dead Sea - Madaba. This morning we travel to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth's surface for lunch and a chance to bob around in the buoyant mineral rich waters and smother ourselves in mud! Next stop is holy Mt Nebo - the single most important Biblical site in Jordan. Having led the Israelites for 40 years through the wilderness, it is from this panoramic vantage point, that Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land. We too can enjoy excellent views of the Jordan River Valley, the northern shore of the Dead Sea, Jericho and on clear days, Jerusalem. We travel on to the bustling Christian market town of Madaba, where we spend the night. Overnight - Madaba

Day 18: Madaba

Sadly your time with us has come to and end as you are transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight to your onward destination.
