Day 1: Cairo
Welcome to Egypt's capital and Africa's largest city, Cairo! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport you will be met by an On the Go representative who will assist with the procurement of your visas. You will then be guided through passport control and baggage collection and later transferred directly to your nearby hotel for the night.
Day 2: Cairo - Siwa Oasis
This morning you will return to the airport early for the 08:15 am flight to Marsa Matrouh. Arriving there at 09:30 you will then transfer 3 hours to Siwa. The day will be spent visiting some of the various highlights in the area including the Temple of the Oracle, Amoun Temple, Cleopatra Springs, an optional bike ride, and a visit to the islands for sunset.
Day 3: Siwa Oasis
Today's highlights will include the Mountain of the Dead and Old Shali. After lunch, you will head out to the desert for an exciting 4x4 desert safari and later that evening an authentic dinner will be served.
Day 4: Siwa Oasis - Marsa Matrouh
This morning you will have fee time to wander around and explore the town of Siwa before the drive to Marsa Matrouh. After hotel check-in you will get the opportunity to visit the Libyan markets. Dinner will be served later that evening.
Day 5: Marsa Matrouh - Cairo
It's an early morning flight back to Egypt's capital arriving at approximately 11:15 am. You'll spend the afternoon exploring the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. This evening the group will head down to the banks of the Nile and embark on an evening dinner cruise with a fantastic buffet and great entertainment.
Day 6: Cairo
It's time to bid farewell to incredible Egypt, with an early transfer back to the airport for the 07:35 am BA flight home!
