Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Enjoy a day to relax.

Day 4: Cairo

Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau which are the sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World. Next we transfer over to explore the necropolis of Saqqara, considered to be Egypt's most enduring architectural legacy. Evening at leisure.

Day 5: Cairo

After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, here you can enjoy a guided tour and free time to browse and explore the famed treasures of King Tutankhamen. We then enjoy an in-depth tour of Old Cairo, visit the old Coptic suspended Church and city of the dead, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, drive to the Citadel of Saladin, and visit the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and more.

Day 6: Cairo - Alexandria

This morning we leave Cairo and drive to Alexandria on the Mediterranean Coast. Arriving there assisted check into your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure to go for a wander along the beautiful sea front promenade.

Day 7: Alexandria

After breakfast today we enjoy our in-depth tour of Alexandria. Highlights include the Catacombs at Kom El Shoukafa and nearby Roman Ruins, Pompey's Pillar, Fort Qaitbay, Alexandria National Library and Montazah Palace Gardens.... the list goes on!

Day 8: Alexandria

Enjoy a free day to explore and eat some fantastic sea food.

Day 9: Alexandria - Marsa Matrouh

Starting early (7am) we drive North-west toward the Mediterranean coastline, to the World War II cemeteries of El Alamein. In 1942 the Allies under Britain’s field Marshal Montgomery halted the German- Italian advance towards the River Nile. Arriving into Marsa Matrouh check into your hotel.

Day 10: Marsa Matrouh

Today we enjoy visit to some interesting places such as the Libyan Souqs, Marina Ruins-Alamein an ancient city discovered in 1985, it comprises temples, tombs baths and nobles' houses, from the Graeco-Roman period. It is the largest archaeological city after Alexandria after we visit Ageebah Beach a short distance west of Mersa Matrouh, it is distinguished by its numerous natural caves and enchanting scenery.

Day 11: Marsa Matrouh - Siwa Oasis

Today we continue onward to Siwa. Arrival and check into your hotel. Evening walk and opportunity for dinner in a typical Siwan style restaurant.

Day 12: Siwa Oasis

This morning we take a leisurely bicycle ride through the verdant date palm groves, visiting the local sights en-route. Our first stop is the Temple of the Oracle, dating back to near 570BC. We cycle to Cleopatra Spring for a dip in the pool as the spring fed warm water bubbles to the surface. Afternoon sunset dinner, swim and campfire at the ‘Great Saltwater Lake’.

Day 13: Siwa Oasis

Today we visit Mountain of the Dead and explore Old Shali. Old Shali is the old city abandoned in 1926 after 3 days of rain that literally melted the mud brick city. Afternoon - Desert Safari. 4x4 through the massive sand dunes of the Great Sand Sea. We also visit the site of an ancient ocean abundant with marine fossils and finish the day at the hot spring of Bir Wahed for swimming and sunset dinner.

Day 14: Siwa Oasis - Bahariyya Oasis

A long journey today setting off after breakfast we drive to Bahariyya a 450-km journey that passes through magnificent sand dunes of the Great Sand Sea and the dramatic landscape of Areg Oasis. Arrive Bahariyya I am sure you will just want to relax.

Day 15: Bahariyya Oasis - White Desert

We explore Bahariyya - an ancient oasis dating back to the Middle Kingdom. Continuing by 4x4, we visit some temples, tombs and the Black Desert - a region full of black volcano shaped mountains. Our desert camp tonight is in the White Desert. The striking desert is full of unusual wind-eroded limestone formations and our remote overnight base.

Day 16: White Desert - Cairo

Morning witness the sunrise over the White Desert. After breakfast we drive back to Cairo (750KM) Arrive there evening at leisure.

Day 17: Cairo - Aswan

Kick back and relax in preparation for the next leg of your journey. Tonight you travel by sleeper train to Aswan.

Day 18: Aswan

Welcome to Egypt's Nubian city Aswan! On Arrival we will transfer you to your hotel. After we sail by felucca to the west bank and hike 3 hrs to St Simeon's, from here we go by camel back through the desert to the Tombs of the Nobles arriving there time for a visit then we sail back to your hotel.

Day 19: Aswan - Felucca Cruise

This morning fly to the not to be missed Temple of Abu Simbel - its an early flight! Abu Simbel is one of the greatest Egyptian monuments ever built which you will see first hand with a guided tour and free time. We fly back to Aswan This afternoon, we board our Nile felucca for a 1 night voyage on the River Nile downstream tonight overnight under the stars and dinner cooked by your crew.

Day 20: Felucca Cruise - Aswan

Disembarking in Kom Ombo we drive back to Aswan. Later afternoon visit to the Granite Quaries & Unfinished Obelisk.

Day 21: Aswan

Relaxing day. We embark your cruiser in time for Lunch enjoy the facilities on board. Dinner & Evening entertainment on board docked in Aswan.

Day 22: Aswan - Nile Cruising

Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. Lunch, Dinner & Evening entertainment on board docked in Kom Ombo or Edfu. (option al excursions)

Day 23: Nile Cruising - Luxor

This morning a visit to Edfu one of Egypt's best preserved temples then after passing through the Esna Lock we will reach Luxor - Egypt's open air museum. Afternoon excursion to the Karnak Temple complex and when dusk draws near this evening enjoy an excursion of the beautiful Luxor Temple illuminated at night time it's ripe with photo opportunities. Lunch, Dinner & Evening entertainment on board docked in Luxor.

Day 24: Luxor

Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our half day sightseeing. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Tonight you fly to Sharm El Sheikh via Cairo arriving late we transfer you to your hotel.
